“I…am…still on periods..”

It definitely surprised Lu Lijun. He didn’t say he would do anything like that and didn’t plan to do it yet, but her mind reached there which means another progress. She at least had it in her mind.

He smiled lightly and Jiang Yuyan looked at him feeling confused. ‘Did I say something wrong?’ The next moment she understood what she had just said, ‘Did I just admit that I am looking forward to it?’

He smirked playfully, “Don’t worry, I can wait.”

“I…I didn’t mean anything… I just meant to stop you if you…umm…”

He kissed her to seal her lips, and asked as his moist lips brushed hers, “Really?” and kissed her again.

When he parted away, she tried to explain, “I..I really didn’t…”

“You don’t need to explain anything,” he interrupted her. He wished to give her time as he himself was not sure if she really meant it or not. What if it was just her spontaneous reply. After what the two had gone through, he just wished to be careful and be patient with her. He could not afford to lose her just because of momentary desperation.

She felt like a thief was caught and lowered her gaze and said in a low voice, “I.. was..really checking where it hurts…I was worried…”

He accepted her explanation, “I was not lying when I said it hurts,” He released her one hand and moved it to his heart, “But the place that hurt is here. My heart hurts when you are angry and upset with me?”

She looked back at him, “I was not angry. I was worried you must have hurt your wound when you played beach volleyball.”

“So when you saw those pictures, you only thought about my wound and were angry because I was careless?” he asked.

“Hmm,” she nodded.

It disappointed him. No jealousy? How can it be?

“So you were fine with me being with those girls?” he asked, his tone not so happy.

“Hmm, it’s fine,” she replied.

When you saw that girl in my arms and hugged me. One even pecked me on the cheek when we won. While playing they sometimes patted me on my arms, and my back and sometimes touched my abs too. Then we all were so close…”

“Get off of me,” she warned before he could recite more of his glorious moments with those girls.

“First tell me…”

“Are you letting me go this instant or should I call my brother and then go to his room?” she asked coldly. She sure looked upset.

Lu Lijun let her go and moved back. She sat up in the bed and threw one pillow at him, “You can go to the room next door.”

“Are you asking me to….”

“Yes,” she said firmly,” and if you won’t go, “I will surely leave this room and never enter here again,”

“Yuyan…”

“Are you going or shall I?” she didn’t look like she was joking. Her face was red with anger.

Lu Lijun realized he pissed her off for real when he was just trying to get the truth out of her to know if she was jealous. But, now he had to pay for it.

He quietly held his pillow and walked towards the door. Before leaving, he turned to look at the cold woman, “Are you sure?”

“Very sure,” she replied immediately as if didn’t wish him to be in front of her for even a second more, “Close the door once you leave,” and turned to sleep on her side of the bed.

Sighing out deeply, Lu Lijun left the room and went to the room next to his that Noah and Jake were using. Those two were yet to return so it was empty.

Lu Lijun went to the window and stood there, regretting his action but somewhere he was happy that she was jealous which was what he wished to know. Her anger showed she was extremely jealous but was holding it back for the sake of her pride.

‘She has kicked me out but it was worth it. Not like I can’t find my way back to the room,’ he remembered about when she checked his wound, feeling panicked about him being hurt.

‘I love it when she cares for me while holding all her rights over me. What a lovely feeling when she was inspecting his stomach and the wound.’ He touched his abs and looked at them, ‘You bunch of lucky things.’

Just then his eyes noticed something in the garden. His one brother, Lu Feng was strolling here and there with the mobile in his hand and he looked tense while Lu Han was sitting somewhere on one side, staring at his mobile screen.

‘What’s with these two?’ Lu Lijun thought and understood. He smiled, ‘Good to see them like this. Elder sister deserves one more gift for this.’

After a while, Jake and Noah entered the bedroom and saw Lu Lijun standing by the window.

“Woh, seems like Mrs Lu has kicked Mr Lu out of the room,” Noah commented.

Not even turning to look at them, Lu Lijun spoke, “I am not fortunate like you to sleep with my person even after we fight.”

“If you are that upset about being kicked, then you are free to join brother Feng and Han out there,” Jake commented.

“Do I look pissed to you?” Lu Lijun turned to look at him, “I must be the first man who is happy because my woman is finally jealous and couldn’t hide it.”

“As you are here, you can take the bed with Noah, I’ll take the couch,” Jake said.

Lu Lijun looked at him with surprise, “Don’t we three always sleep together in bed?”

“Today I want to sleep peacefully without anyone disturbing my sleep due to lack of space,” Jake answered.

Noah knew why he was doing it and said, “I should be the one to complain as I am the one always stuck between both of you.”

“That’s why this time you won’t have to face it,” Jake said as he removed his shirt and threw it on the side chair. He went to the wardrobe and put on one plain T-shirt.
