Meanwhile, Lu Lijun went to his room where Jiang Yuyan was already in bed and the lights in the room were turned off.

‘Is she sleeping already?’ Lu Lijun thought and walked towards the bed slowly after he closed the door. He climbed the bed and looked at her, who was sleeping facing her back at him. “Yuyan!” he called but as expected there was no reply.

‘Is she really upset because of those pictures? If so then I should be happy. She is jealous because she feels something for me,’ a light smile painted on his lips.

He slowly moved towards her but there were cushions placed in between as if to divide the bed into two sides and warn a person to not cross it and come to the other side.

Lu Lijun could only smile at this cute action of her, ‘As if these cushions can keep me away from her.’ Just as he was about to move those cushions away, he heard the voice full of warning, “If you move even a single cushion, I will go back to my previous room.”

Lu Lijun immediately stopped and tried to not move those pillows.

‘I shall not anger her more. But what to do? She used to be angry even before but I could still get my way with her but now…I can’t be rash.’

He inhaled deeply and called for her. “Yuyan.”

“Good night,” was what she replied and then turned silent.

“Yuyan, are you angry at me?” he asked, not giving up.

“Is there a reason I should be angry?” she asked.

‘Thank god, she finally said something,’ he felt relieved.

“Those pictures…..”

“I don’t know what you are talking about,” she interrupted him. “Now let me sleep.”

“Yuyan, I was not….”

“If you talk more, either you leave or I leave the room,” she warned.

Lu Lijun felt surprised. He was aware of her anger but this time he was scared to handle her. What if she gets angrier.

‘Do all the men in the world feel the same in front of their woman when she is angry? It was the first time for me to feel this way. Seems like our nameless relationship is actually going somewhere. She considers me someone for her, that’s why she is angry…what to do….’

“Ah! Why is it hurting now? Gosh…”

The next moment there was an immediate reaction from the other side of the bed as Jiang Yuyan got up, “W-What happened?”

Lu Lijun looked at her and said, “It hurts.”

She immediately turned on the lights with a switch board next to the bed and looked at him, “Where show me? Did you hurt the place of surgery?”

‘Place of surgery? Good idea,’ he thought and moved his hand towards his stomach where he had surrey, “Ah, it hurts.”

Jiang Yuyan pushed the cushions to side and went to him, “Show me quick. We might need to call the doctor.”

Lu Lijun lifted his T-shirt up to let her see that surgery cut on his stomach which healed completely but the mark was still there.

She touched it with her finger, “Does it hurt too much?” when she was inspecting his surgery mark, she didn’t notice how happy this guy was who acted to be in pain.

“Hmm, It hurts.”

She looked at him but before that he had already changed his expressions to painful ones.

“Who told you to play beach volleyball when you had surgery just a few weeks ago. Don’t you know you should take it slow instead. Are you a kid that I have to tell you all this?” Her face was furious.

While this young guy’s mind was somewhere else, ‘She looks so beautiful when she is angry.’

She looked at his surgery mark again and lightly poked it to check. She thought he would hiss in pain but there was no reaction from him as if he didn’t feel pain.

She looked at him, who was staring at her. ‘Was he just acting?’ and she poked his surgery mark with a little pressure, “Aren’t you feeling any pain now?”

He got back to his senses and looked at his stomach. Her finger was poking his surgery mark with a little pressure. “I…”

The way she glared at him, he swallowed his words. She was about to turn to go back to her place but he held her hand and pulled her towards him as they sat closely facing each other.

She tried to free her hand from his grip “Lu Lijun….”

But he held it tightly and stared into her eyes. “When you were touching me so nicely, how do you expect me to feel the pain? Don’t you think it might seduce me instead?”

‘Seduce? I was just worried about him,’ she thought angrily, “Let me go.”

“What if I won’t,” he asked, not willing to back down.

“You know I can hurt you,” she warned.

“You can do anything you want with me,” he said, still holding her hand tightly.

She didn’t back down either. “You are hurt already and….Ahh..Lu Lijun…”

She was pushed under him and it angered her. Lu Lijun held her other free hand as well and pinned them on the bed on her either side.

He looked into those puzzled and shocked eyes and said, “You should not have touched my wound for so long. I doubt whether you were checking the wound or were you satisfying your curiosity of how those perfect abs felt?”

“I was not…”

“Are you sure? You really don’t want to feel….”

“You are hurt. Don’t mess with me,” she warned, interrupting him.

“Why do I feel these words being said are half hatred?” he moved closer to her ears and whispered, “That wound is nothing. I am still strong enough to do everything that you wish to feel.”

With her eyes wide open at his words, she gulped and her face turned flushed.

He moved back and looked at her, “But I am worried that if your weak body can handle me, Shall we try who can handle who?”

With her heart racing faster under him and his bold words, she licked her suddenly dry turned lips, “I…am..still on periods.”
