“The entire information about their life that I collected ten years back is in this file. About their present situation, I need some time to collect information. I have already sent our men.”

Lu Lijun nodded, “Make it fast.”

“What do you plan to do, Lu Lijun?” Noah asked.

“You know the rule,” Lu Lijun commented.

Noah nodded and then said, “But we might need help and I am not sure if it would be good to get Mr. San Zemin’s help behind president Lu’s back.”

“That won’t be needed,” Lu Lijun said and looked at Jake to which Jake replied, “Don’t worry about anything.”

Jiang Yuyan finished talking on the phone. Jiang Yang, who was with An Tian and Lu Han, went to his sister.

“Call from home?” he asked.

“Hmm, mother. Well, not our mother but….”

“Your mother-in-law,” Jiang Yang completed.

She nodded and he asked, “What did she say?”

“Nothing much. She is worried about my health and asked me to take care of myself and rest only,” Jiang Yuyan replied.

“She worries for you a lot,” he said.

“She sure does. For the past ten years she was my mother to me,” she replied.

“Was? Is she not now?” he asked.

“She is. I didn’t mean it like that,” Jiang Yuyan corrected him.

“You look a little tense. You can share with me,” he offered, seeing his silent sister.

She looked ahead towards the mountains and spoke, “I am not sure how they will take things between me and Lu Lijun. Though they know it already they also know I rejected him. I don’t know what will happen when I go back. I don’t know if they will accept it happily or…” she sighed, “I don’t know how to even face them. If I was shocked after knowing what was in Lu Lijun’s mind, I can’t imagine the shock they got. They might not accept it while I….” she stopped.

“You have accepted it,” Jiang Yang said.

“Hmm!. After that accident, I realized one thing if he was gone, I would have left with regrets only like how I regret not being able to love Lu Qiang as much as he loved me. She shook her head, “I don’t think there is a need to say now. He understands.”

“But he might feel good if you say it to him.”

“I don’t know how to. I..am just happy with the way things are now. I don’t want to make anything complicated. Maybe this wordless and nameless relationship is better and won’t create difficulties for anyone.”

“Anyone or just you?” Jiang Yang asked, “You are worried about what you will say to your family so you are scared to give it a name. You just want things to go on like this but how long? How long would you keep up like this? You are here away from family so it’s fine, but there if you wish to be together with family then you have to give it a name. And you know what name I am talking about.”

She inhaled deeply and said, “I am not sure if I can…”

“Give it time. I am sure you would want it as much as he would. I am also sure if you ask him now, he will register both of yours marriage right away. But he is just waiting for you. Don’t make him wait for long. He had waited and suffered enough.”

“What work did you have on Sunday,” Jiang Yuyan interrupted her brother immediately before he would say a word about marriage or wedding or anything related to it.

Lu Lijun looked at Jiang Yang who stopped at his sister’s interruption but Lu Lijun wanted to know what she didn’t want him to know. But for now, first, he needed to answer his woman’s question.

“It was nothing much. Just what to do from tomorrow. Better to plan in advance,” he replied.

“You should rest on Sunday,” she instructed sweetly.

“Hmm, I’ll try not to work,” he assured.

Noah and Jake looked at each other as his friend was sure something. He was so cold and angry a while ago but the moment he saw her he had turned into a sweet and obedient husband. And he answered her without lying and she even accepted it without asking in detail. His wife was smart but he was a good actor to hide his real thoughts.

“I am going out for something. Will see you directly for lunch,” he informed.

Jiang Yuyan didn’t ask where they were going and simply nodded.

At noon they all except for Xiao Min, met for lunch at Jessica’s newly launched hotel which was the new attraction for foreigners. She welcomed them and showed them the entire hotel which was in fact a mini resort. It was grand and luxurious with eye-catching infrastructure.

When they were roaming around the pool area, a pair of eyes were on Jiang Yuyan.

“Did you recognise her?” one man sitting by the poolside on a sunlounger asked his other companion.
