Lu Lian was happily hugging her brothers, “Thank you so much brother Feng. Thank you so much, Lu Lijun.”

She accepted the gifts from them as the two wished her again, “Happy birthday,” as the two looked at Ming Rusheng with a mocking evil smile.

Lu Lian was standing facing her back to the door so she could not realize Ming Rusheng had just entered the room. She saw her brother looking at the door behind her and she turned to look where the two were looking.

“Rusheng,” she said and smiled at him.

Ming Rusheng collected himself as he could not show his anger toward her brothers to her and smiled back and walked towards her.

“Happy birthday,” he said.

“That’s it? Where is your gift?” Lu Feng asked as he looked at so many gift boxes the two brothers had kept on their sister’s bed.

“I didn’t expect my sister’s man to come empty handed,” Lu Lijun added.

Lu Lian felt her brothers were being unreasonable and she was about to say something but Ming Rusheng pulled her back by holding her at her waist and kissed her in front of her brothers.

Lu Lian was shocked as she didn’t expect Ming Rusheng to do it in front of her brothers but didn’t resist the kiss either as it was her birthday and the one who kissed her was the one who she loved. She kissed him back happily without thinking about her brothers.

Just then everyone else entered the room holding the cake in hand, wearing birthday caps and shouted, “Happy Birthday….” and stopped as they saw the two kissing while two cold faced brothers stayed quiet.

Ming Rushing let go of her and said, “I hope you liked the gift.”

She nodded. Though kissing was nothing new for them, he dared to do it in front of her brothers and she didn’t bother holding back either. Her hypocrite brothers were troubling her man too much. It served them right.

“Rest, we will keep it for later,” he said, wiping her lips with his thumb.

Jiang Yang, An Tian, Noah, Jake, Xiao Min, Jiang Yuyan and even Martha and Jerome were smiling ear to ear.

“Ahem! Ahem! We are here as well,” Jiang Yang said.

Lu Lian and Ming Rusheng looked at them and heard them again as they walked towards her, “Happy birthday, birthday girl.”

“Thank you so much you all,” she replied.

Jiang Yang looked at Ming Rusheng and patted his shoulder, “I am so proud of you man. You are my true brother,” and he passed a mockingly teasing gaze to the two Lu Brothers.

An Tian chuckled, “Serves them right.”

“True,” Jake and Noah and even Xiao Min agreed.

It looked like all were on one side while these two Lu brothers were left on the other side.

“Are you here to talk uselessly or even want to cut the cake?” Lu Feng said coldly while Lu Lijun held his sister’s hand and pulled her away from Ming Rusheng, “You need to sit there to cut the cake.”

“My Darling is sexy when he is pissed and cold,” Jiang Yang commented.

Lu Feng ignored them and went to where Lu Lijun took their sister to sit on the couch where the cake would be cut on the centre table. Lu Lijun sat next to her while Lu Feng sat on her other side. Both brothers got places next to her where no one else could sit next to her, especially Ming Rusheng.

‘So childish these two are,’ Jiang Yuyan could not believe these two.

She stood next to Ming Rusheng, “Just bear it for some time.”

“It’s fine. Let them have their sister. They know after this they won’t be able to do this,” Ming Rusheng replied.

“So do you plan to…” a happy smile painted on Jiang Yuyan’s lips.

“Hmm,” he nodded, “And these two know it. They know it’s the last chance before she would be Mrs Ming.”

“I am happy for both of you,” Jiang Yuyan commented.

“I wish you to let us be happy for you as well,” Ming Rusheng said and Jiang Yuyan turned silent.

“We all can see how much he loves you. I believe you see it too,” Ming Rusheng said while Jiang Yuyan looked at the cold guy who was surrounded by others who were arranging the cake on the table.

She knew he loved her. She knew she loved him as well but she could not dare say it to him. She didn’t know what was stopping her but she just wanted to wait.

Just then Lu Lijun looked back at her, who was looking at him. He didn’t know what those two were talking about but he knew it must be about him and her from the way she was looking at him. As it was his sister’s day, he preferred to be with her. He could talk to Jiang Yuyan later.

“Let’s cut the cake now,” Jiang Yang said excitedly. Ming Rusheng and Jiang Yuyan went closer as Lu Lian blew up the candles and then cut the cake.

As her brothers were equally precious to her, she first fed them the cake and later it was Ming Rusheng’s turn. She stood up and went to him with a cake. He happily ate it and heard her, “I hope you don’t mind.”

He fed the leftover cake to her and smiled, “Not at all.”

Chapter

They celebrated her birthday by eating cake and having fun and the rest was left for the day.

“Let the birthday girl sleep. Tomorrow she will treat us to a nice party.”

Finally, everyone was ready to leave her room.

Just as Lu Feng and Lu Lijun were leaving, Lu Feng put his hand on Ming Rusheng’s shoulder who was also ready to leave despite not wishing to.

Ming Rusheng looked at him to know what? Wasn’t he just leaving their sister’s room?

“You can stay,” Lu Feng said.

Ming Rusheng thought, ‘Is he drunk now?’

“Just because it’s elder sister’s birthday today,” Lu Lijun said and the two brother’s left.
