Once they finished, An Tian came to the room as Lu Lijun had already informed him that she was awake.
Seeing him Jiang Yuyan averted her gaze and An Tian spoke, “Don’t want to see your doctor, president Lu?”

Jiang Yuyan didn’t respond to him while An Tian talked to Lu Lijun who informed him that she had breakfast and seemed fine.

”We have to conduct a few tests. First physical tests and later we can have a psychological evaluation.”

During the physical tests, Lu Lijun accompanied her. The results came soon after. “Results of these tests are fine,” An Tian informed the worried guy.

”That’s good,” Lu Lijun replied.

”About Psychological evaluation, let’s do it after some time. Let her rest,” An Tian suggested.

”Will that all be enough?” Lu Lijun asked.

”Your presence alone is enough but let’s do the needful,” An Tian said with a light smile to which he only received the questioning gaze from Lu Lijun.

”Go to her. She must be waiting for you,” An Tian said, “I will return later.”

Lu Lijun agreed and went back to Jiang Yuyan.

She was sitting in the bed with her eyes fixed at the door that showed he was waiting for him.

”You should lie down and sleep,” he said.

Jiang Yuyan shook her head, “It was the first time she reacted to something.

”Then what do you want to do?” he asked.

Jiang Yuyan looked towards the window and Lu Lijun asked, “You want to go out?”

Jiang Yuyan nodded, “Yes.”

She even said a word now. Lu Lijun could not be happier than this. “I will get the wheelchair.” He knew she was weak and should not walk.

They went out to the terrace garden that the hospital had on the VIP patient’s floor. It was high up from where the entire city could be seen and a vast one, covering a huge area. They stopped at the glass parapet boundary wall. Jiang Yuyan continued looking at the city as the pleasant hair played with her hair.

Lu Lijun stood next to her but the next moment something surprising happened. She held his hand and continued looking ahead.

Lu Lijun let her be and asked, “Did you like it here?”

She nodded with her sight fixed ahead, “With you next to me, I find everything beautiful.”

Lu Lijun gulped and felt his heart skipping a bit at her words. He didn’t know she could even say such words. Those were not normal ones but filled with love and meant for the one she loved.

He turned speechless and continued looking ahead. Even if she thought he was Lu Qiang, he would like to think she said it to him. He didn’t know if he would get to hear it from her ever again.

He looked at the bright sky. ‘Elder brother, I really envy you.’

They went inside the room. After lunch time, An Tian came to Lu Lijun. Lu Lijun told him that she talked.

”What did she talk about?” An Tian asked.

”When I asked if she liked it there in the garden, she replied- With you next to me, I find everything beautiful. I think she still thinks I am the elder brother and….”

”And what?”

”And it’s not a good thing.”

”Why? Are you scared that she will show her love to you or are you scared to see how much she loves your brother?”

Lu Lijun sighed, “Till when it will last. I want her to know it’s me next to her and not my brother. What if she….”

”What?”

”Nothing. Just make her better so she will know it’s me,” Lu Lijun said.

An Tian smiled, “What a pity. Before you were ready to die just to be with her and now you are scared.”

Lu Lijun felt annoyed at the causal attitude from An Tian to his serious worry, “I am not scared. I want to be with her but being myself and not my elder brother.”

”We know nothing for sure,” An Tian replied.

”What do you mean?” Lu Lijun asked.

”I mean it’s time for me to go to my patient.” An Tian answered and entered the room.

”Brother Tian…” Lu Lijun followed him and seeing Jiang Yuyan awake, he shut his mouth.

An Tian pulled out one file and looked at Lu Lijun, “You can wait outside.”

At the mention of this, Jiang Yuyan looked a little restless but An Tian talked to her immediately, “He has some important work to do. Let him go.”

Jiang Yuyan stayed quiet and Lu Lijun left.

An Tian opened his file and looked at her. I will ask you questions and I expect you to answer it honestly. You have gone through it before so I don’t have to explain it,” An Tian treated her casually, not caring to be gentle and soft-spoken. “I believe you still know how to talk as I am not like his to understand you just by looking into your eyes.

There was no reply from her and An Tian spoke, “He is worried for you. If you wish to make him feel better, then you should follow the treatment or he will be worked up.”

His words seemed to convince her.

An Tian asked her several questions which she answered.

”Now the last question,” he said while writing something in the file and she waited to hear.

”Do you love him?” he asked, not bothering to look at her.

Jiang Yuyan stayed quiet and An Tian looked at her, “Till now you answered all the questions honestly and immediately then why not this question?

She lowered her gaze and heard him again, “Don’t you love Lu Qiang?”

She looked at him and answered, “I do.”

”That’s it. See how easy it was to answer,” An Tian said, offering her a pleasant smile, but his eyes showed he got what he wished to know.

Jiang Yuyan didn’t know how to react or what to say. That was it? The test was done? She didn’t know what her doctor was trying to do.
