MY BROTHER IN-LAW TURN HUSBAND, VOLUME 7 - Season 14 Episode 3

Xiao Min returned after taking Ms. Han away while San Zemin was walking restlessly here and there outside of the suite’s door while waiting for his men who would bring the doctor. The entire area was sealed so no one could come on this side of the floor.
”Doctor is still not here?” Xiao Min asked.

”He will reach here soon,” San Zemin replied.

Xiao Min nodded and was about to open the door to enter the suite, but San Zemin stopped him. “Don’t.”

Xiao Min gave him a questioning look and San Zemin answered, “Lu Lijun is under the influence of drugs. Not like we can do anything till the doctor is here.”

”Still, I need to check on him,” Xiao Min said and was about to move the door handle but San Zemin held the handle and said, “Let the boss handle him till then.”

Xiao Min looked at San Zemin questioningly to which San Zemin replied with a silent gaze.

Xiao Min let go of the door handle and stood quietly outside with SAn Zemin.

Meanwhile, inside the suite, Jiang Yuyan could not stop going to Lu Lijun and went inside the bathroom. He had recently recovered from sitting for a long time in the cold and just a few days back, he had recovered from drinking too much alcohol and now he was again sitting in the cold water which would affect his health.

Jiang Yuyan turned off the water and kneeled in front of him who had his eyes shut tightly and still gripping that sharp piece of glass in his palm as the blood was still flowing out of it.

She held his hurt hand, “Let go of it, Lu Lijun.”

Not even looking at her, he pulled his hand back and hissed under his greeted teeth, “Don’t..touch me…”

She held his hand again and tried to open his fist to get that glass piece out of his hand, “Don’t do this. You can use me, instead.”

Hearing it, Lu Lijun pushed her away which made her sit back on the wet bathroom floor from her kneeling position. “Can’t you hear me? Just go away,” he shouted angrily as his red bloodshot eyes glared at her. He was on the verge of losing his control.

Jiang Yuyan gathered herself and sat facing him calmly. He looked back at her, thinking she would listen to him and leave because she sure would not want if he had to do something with her.

”Lu Lijun, I can never let you get hurt,” she said and before he could react, she cupped his face in her hand and kissed him.

Lu Lijun, whose body was already under the influence of drugs, could not resist it as it was what he needed the most at this moment. As they kissed, Jiang Yuyan held his hurt hand and slowly took away that glass piece from his hand. Just as he was about to be aggressive on her while losing his mind to her advances, Lu Lijun felt what she did and realized what he was doing. He stopped kissing her and pulled away.

Jiang Yuyan looked at the man who was trying hard to resist the influence of that drug. To her, nothing was more important than him. “Lu Lijun….”

”Yuyan..” came the painful voice of a hurting man which interrupted her. “Don’t make me hate myself.”

Lu Lijun knew she would never want it with him but if she had to give herself to him just because he was suffering under the drug’s influence which was totally his mistake by being so careless with that girl, he would never want Jiang Yuyan to suffer with him.

”Lu Lijun, it’s fine…”

”You are not something that I will ever use like this. I will only hate myself if I do,” he said.

Jiang Yuyan felt helpless but was touched by his words. He was in so much pain and need but he was trying his best to resist. Any normal man would only give into it but he….he cared for her more than himself.

”I will check if the doctor is here,” Jiang Yuyan strode out of the bathroom with her clothes half-drenched due to being pushed on the wet floor, and then while kissing, the water from Lu Lijun’s clothes, transferred onto hers.

There was no one inside the living room of the suite and Jiang Yuyan went to the door to search for San Zemin who needed to bring the doctor soon. The door opened and the two men looked at their boss whose clothes were drenched with water.

”Why is the doctor not here yet?” she asked angrily.

Just then San Zemin’s two men arrived there with a doctor. They let the doctor inside the room where there was no one.

”He is inside the bathroom,” Jiang Yuyan told San Zemin.

”We will take care of the rest,” San Zemin assured her while Xiao Min said, “Boss, you need to change clothes. It’s cold.”

Jiang Yuyan nodded and Xiao Min instructed, “Bedroom is there. I will arrange the clothes.”

Jiang Yuyan went to the bedroom while San Zemin and the doctor went to Lu Lijun.

After changing into the new sets of clothes, Jiang Yuyan was waiting for the doctor to come out so she could ask how Lu Lijun was.

”Boss, are you okay?” Xiao Min asked worriedly while he himself didn’t know why he was worried about her.

”Hmm!” Jiang Yuyan simply nodded and looked at the two glasses of juice that were kept on the table.

Xiao Min observed it and said, “Seems like he was drugged through this juice.”

”I am more surprised over they did not offer him alcohol but this juice. Seems like they know more about him,” Jiang Yuyan commented as she gazed at the two glasses of juice kept on the table.

Xiao Min agreed. If it was alcohol, Lu Lijun would have rejected drinking. That means they know Lu Lijun can’t drink alcohol. “I will send it for the test to see what they have mixed in it.”

Jiang Yuyan nodded as she looked calmer than ever but her eyes were dangerously cold.

After a long time, the doctor came out of the bedroom as San Zemin followed him.

”How is he?” Jiang Yuyan asked.

”He will sleep for some time till the drug is flushed out of his body. Nothing to worry about,” the doctor said, “But….”

Jiang Yuyan looked at him and the doctor added, “I will recommend to not let him be in cold anymore or he will catch some serious lungs infection. Last time I have already instructed.”

The doctor was the same who treated Lu Lijun before when he risked his life both times.

”He needs to take care of himself and I will suggest him to rest for fifteen days at least to recover from all the damages he had caused till now,” the doctor suggested.

”We will be careful,” Jiang Yuyan assured.

The doctor left and Jiang Yuyan went to Lu Lijun who was in the bedroom of the suite.
