MY BROTHER IN-LAW TURN HUSBAND, VOLUME 7 - Season 13 Episode 13

Lu Bao was taken to the hospital urgently in the fully equipped ambulance that was already prepared in the Lu Mansion. All the family members rushed to the hospital except for the elders.

Lu Bao was taken to the delivery room while the family members waited in the VIP ward waiting room. Lu Bao’s husband and her in-laws also arrived there.

Each passing moment felt like an eternity to every family member as they waited to hear about Lu Bao and the baby.

“Don’t worry much. Everything will go fine,” Mu Xichen’s father consoled the worried man who looked like he was counting each passing moment. Restlessness was written on his entire face.

Jiang Yuyan excused herself and went out of the waiting room as she had to attend an urgent call.

“Good afternoon boss?” Xiao Min greeted.

“Purpose of call?” Jiang Yuyan asked.

“I talked to Mr. Ming’s assistant to get an appointment but he said Mr. Ming is not approachable at the moment and he can’t assure the exact time.”

“Where did he go?”

“Seems like even his assistant has no idea,” Xiao Min replied. “Should I ask San Zemin to get his whereabouts?”

“No need.”

Jiang Yuyan didn’t know what exactly happened between Ming Rusheng and Lu Lian but she was sure if Ming Rusheng had gone then he must want to be alone.

“Inform Lu Lijun about the situation here,” she instructed,

“Got it, boss,” Xiao Min assured and asked, “Is everything alright there boss? I will be there soon.”

“No need. At least on weekends give me a break from you. You can show your handsome face to someone else who must be dying to see it,” Jiang Yuyan teased but in her usual cold and sarcastic tone.

“Understood boss,” was what Xiao Min could say to his ruthless boss who never let go of any chance of teasing her.

Jiang Yuyan dialed elder Lu’s number and informed him and Grandma to not worry about anything.

Jiang Yuyan returned to the waiting room and accompanied others. Lu Lian was also anxious for Lu Bao and looked so impatient to know about her.

Jiang Yuyan patted her hand and said, “Calm down.”

Lu Lian nodded and again there was silence in the entire VIP waiting room.

After what felt like an eternity, finally, after so long a doctor came to the waiting room where everyone waited.

Mu Xiachen hurried towards the doctor and so did others stood from their places to hear what the doctor would say.

“Mother and Baby both are fine. No need to worry about them,” The doctor informed and everyone gave out a sigh of relief. Just then the doctor said again, “Congratulations on having a cute baby girl.”

Mu Xichen couldn’t contain the smile on his face and replied, “Thank you so much, doctor.”

The entire waiting room had a pleasant atmosphere after hearing what the doctor said and couldn’t contain their happiness.

“When can I see them?” Mu Xichen asked.

“You have to wait for some time. Nurses will inform you,” the doctor said and left as the nurse followed him.

“Congratulations, my son. You are a father now,” Mu Xichen’s father said while feeling happy and smiling widely.

“Father, congratulations for being grandparents,” he wished to his parents.

It was the happiest thing that happened for everyone after so many years and they couldn’t contain it.

“We should inform home,” Ning Jiahui said and Lu Jinhai pulled out his cellphone.

Lu Lian could finally breathe and hugged Jiang Yuyan in happiness who too had a pleasant smile on her face.

“We are finally aunts,” Lu Lian said.

“Congratulations,” Jiang Yuyan replied.

“To us,” Lu Lian added to which Jiang Yuyan nodded.

In a while, finally, a nurse came there, “Only two people can see the patient for now.”

Mu Xichen was ready to go while his mother joined him who was excited to see her granddaughter.

By the evening everyone in the family finally could see the mother and a baby and messages were being passed everywhere.

The next day everything calmed down and everyone was relaxed. Lu Feng and Lu Lijun finally arrived home in the morning after getting the news.

Lu Lian was in the living room as she just wanted to finish breakfast and go to see the baby.

“Lu Lijun, brother Feng, You two are uncles now,” she said to the two travelworn men who arrived there together. Both looked tired with lack of sleep and even their hair and clothes looked unkempt.

The two smiled and she asked, “But how come you two are together.”

“Lu Lijun was in my city for some work,” Lu Feng informed.

Jiang Yuyan, who just came downstairs, heard it. She didn’t know where Lu Lijun was gone and this guy didn’t even bother to give his updates.

‘He thinks he alone can handle everything. Too oversmart and overconfident.’

Lu Lijun looked at her with neutral expressions from which it was hard to guess what he was thinking but he could see through her.

“I am going to see the baby soon, will you two join me or later?”

“That’s why we hurried here. We can go together,” Lu Feng said and asked Lu Lijun, “Are you coming too?”

“That’s why I hurried here too. Seeing my niece was the only reason to bring me back,” Lu Lijun said as his gaze passed by Jiang Yuyan but he avoided looking at her.

“Let’s get fresh first,” Lu Feng instructed and Lu Lijun nodded.

The two went towards the staircase. Lu Feng stopped to talk with Jiang Yuyan at the staircase while Lu Lijun just went ahead as if he didn’t see her.

Lu Feng saw him going away and realized something happened between these two. He didn’t talk about it to Jiang Yuyan and said, “Good morning. How are you?”

“I am fine. But you look tired. Get fresh and come to have breakfast,” she said.

“Will be there.” Saying Lu Feng left.
