“Lu Lijun seems so different now. When he returned and acted all cold, I thought he would never even look at a girl, and we will have one more celibate brother,” Lu Bao said.

Lu Lijun looked at him, “Since when?”

“The same night, I called you to ask if he was in the office and returned home that night.”

“What happened that he is suddenly acting like this?” Lu Lijun asked.

Jake didn’t answer and only sipped on the wine.

Lu Lijun understood and asked, “What do you plan to do now?”

“Don’t know. When it comes to him, I don’t know what to do,” Jake replied calmly, and he sounded helpless.

“That is what I am doing. I didn’t call him and or ask him anything,” Jake replied and asked, “What about you and President Lu.

“Where is Noah?” Lu Lijun asked as he knew Jake wanted to ask the same thing to Nicole.

“He is not with me,” Nicole answered and added, “In fact, I didn’t see him for a few days as I was out of the city for my modeling assignment.

It shocked the other two. All along, they thought Noah was with Nicole as he spent his nights mostly out.

“Since when did you not meet him?” Jake asked, feeling worried.

“That morning, you called Noah, and I received the call; after that, I was out of the city. I returned today and have yet to meet him,” Nicole replied.

Lu Lijun and Jake looked at each other as it surprised the two. All along, they thought he was with Nicole; if not with her, then where was he.. He didn’t know anyone other than them in this city.
