- Season 12 Episode 59 - Taking Her Out
Once office hours were over, Lu Lijun went to Jiang Yuyan’s office. Jiang Yuyan was busy with her work but seeing him entering the office after knocking on the door; she held her breath.
She moved her sight to the stylish wall clock on the wall opposite to her, and she gulped as the realization hit her. ‘Office hours are over.”
She moved her sight back at him, and even before he could reach her work table, she exclaimed in a hurry.
“Stop there.”
Lu Lijun stopped and felt puzzled to see her panicked. He looked around the office. Not finding anything weird, he looked back at her.
“Is anything wrong?” he asked.
“W-Why are you here?” she asked, sitting in her chair and gripping the pen in her hand.
“To take you back home with me,” he replied casually and took a step ahead only to hear her again. “Stop right there.”
It surprised him. “Are you okay?”
She didn’t reply to it and said, “I’ll go by on my own. You can leave.”
Lu Lijun didn’t budge. “You came to the office with me, so you will go back with me too.”
“I have to go somewhere else too so you can….” She tried to explain, but Lu Lijun interrupted her. “I have time to take you wherever you want to go.”
She gritted her teeth annoyingly and spurted out the truth. “But I don’t want to go with you.”
Now Lu Lijun understood why she acted like this and smirked as he took a step ahead.
“Stop there….”
Lu Lijun didn’t stop as he stood in front of her work table and leaned forwards towards her as he rested his hands on her work table and in reflex, Jiang Yuyan leaned back in her chair.
“Are you scared that I might kiss you again?” Lu Lijun asked.
Jiang Yuyan stared at him for a while and got back to her senses. She couldn’t let him overpower her. Not gonna happen.
“Don’t you dare do it again?”
Lu Lijun smiled lightly to see how she was trying to suppress her anxiety and somewhat felt relieved that he had succeeded in shaking this iron lady.
“I thought you liked it.”
It angered her. “Are you nuts?”
Lu Lijun nodded, “Hmm, for you.”
She exhaled in annoyance. No one can ever beat the shameless man whom nothing can affect.
Seeing her anxious, he said calmly and moving back to stand straight, “Don’t worry. I just want to take you somewhere, and I know you will like it.”
His assuring words calmed her as well as turned her curious. “Where?” she asked.
“That’s a surprise,” he said. “Now hurry up. We don’t have much time.”
“Now?” she asked.

Jiang Yuyan still didn’t stand up, and he said, “Do you want the entire Lu corporation to see me taking you away while holding your hand?”
Jiang Yuyan stood up hesitantly. Not sure whether to trust him or not. But how much she knew him, she was sure he did something unwanted only when things went against his will, but when he was calm and in a merry mood, he was always a gentleman and cared for others.
Moreover, even if she said no, she knew he would find another way to take her with him. It was better to go with him when he was nice, and she didn’t have to worry about what he would do.
“Good girl,” Lu Liijun praised her, and the two left.
Xiao Min was outside, waiting for the fourth young master to step out so he could go to his boss but seeing her coming out with Lu Lijun surprised her.
He greeted the two only to hear Lu Lijun say, “Today, you don’t need to worry about your boss,” and he went towards the elevator.
Jiang Yuyan looked at Xiao Min, who was worried about this sudden change, and assured him. “Don’t worry.”
Jiang Yuyan left with Lu Lijun. As they sat in the car, while Jiang Yuyan was still busy thinking about where he was taking her, Lu Lijun leaned inside to put on the seat belt for her, but she refused. “I’ll do it.”
Lu Lijun didn’t insist and moved back as he went to the other side of his car to take a driver’s seat.
He moved the car and saw that she was still tense. “Relax. I am not gonna do that you don’t want.”
Puzzled, she looked at him, but the next moment she said. “I don’t have time to think about your useless childish behavior.”
“I believe you,” he said.
“Huh?”
“Good for me,” he said again as he focused on the road, but she didn’t understand it.
She gave him a questioning look that he sensed and looked at her for a brief moment as he smiled lightly and looked back at the road as he said, “If you are not bothered by my childish actions to think about them, then I guess I can continue doing it.”
“Don’t even think about it. Just because I am calm and tolerating it….”
“Who asked you to be calm and tolerate it. You can always take your revenge by kissing me back.”
“Argh..stop the car…stop it right away,” she exclaimed.
Controlling his smile, he looked at her. “Okay, I’ll be quiet.”
Frowning, Jiang Yuyan looked outside of the window while Lu Lijun drove away quietly, making sure to not argue with her over anything.

Ming Industries.
MIng Rusheng finished his work and came out of his office to go to Lu Lian’s office as it was an important day for him. Exhaling out, he knocked on the door and entered Lu Lian’s office who was also ready to leave.
“I hope you remember today’s plan for dinner,” he asked.
She looked at him and assured him, “I do. I’ll be there on time.”
The two left for home. Ming Rusheng was tense but assured himself saying everything would be fine.
