“I thought boss would like to see the fourth young master,” Xiao Min replied.

Not saying a word, Jiang Yuyan stepped out of the car, and Xiao Min understood he did the right thing.

Stepping out of the car, Xiao Min was ready to lead the way for Jiang Yuyan, “Boss, this way.”

Jiang Yuyan walked with him to the elevator of the building and went to Noah’s apartment.

Noah and Jake settle Lu Lijun in a guest room which was given to Jake.

“I’ll sleep in the living room,” Jake informed.

“You can sleep here with Lu Lijun. The bed is huge,” Noah suggested.

“It’s fine. Anyways I slept on the sofa last night, and it didn’t seem that uncomfortable.

It again reminded Noah about what happened on the sofa the previous night, and he turned silent.

Jake stared at him, and Noah spoke again, smiling awkwardly, “Sofa doesn’t suit your highness.”

“I don’t mind,” Jake countered.

“Is your highness wants to show how I can’t even provide him a comfortable bed?”

“Nonsense,” Jake frowned.

Noah chuckled to see him frowning and suggested, “Okay, I’ll sleep with Lu Lijun. You can sleep in my room.”

Jake exclaimed immediately, “No.”

“Huh?” Noah stared at him.

Jake looked at Noah and then looked at Lu Lijun as he didn’t like the idea. “You drank too. Go sleep in your room,” said Jake.

“Huh? I’m fine sharing bed with Lu Lijun,” said Noah.

Jake stared at Noah coldly and ordered in a commanding voice, “I said No. Go to your room.”

It surprised Noah, “What’s with you?”

Jake continued glaring at him, and Noah agreed, “Okay-Okay, I’m going to my room.”

Noah went to his room, and Jake went to freshen up. Just as the two were ready to sleep, the doorbell rang.

Noah came out of his room, and Jake, who was already in the living room, opened the door.

Seeing who stood at the door, both felt surprised.

“Mr. Xiao Min,” Jake greeted him.

“Boss wishes to see the fourth young master,” Xiao Min replied and stepped aside.

Jiang Yuyan, who stood at one side, came forward, and Jake stepped back to let her in.

Noah came forward and bowed, “President Lu.”

Jiang Yuyan nodded slightly to his greeting, and Noah spoke, “This way, please.”

Jiang Yuyan followed Noah towards the room Lu Lijun was in while Jake and Xiao Min stayed in the living room.

“How is he?” Xiao Min asked.

“Nothing to worry about. He would wake up by morning,” Jake replied.

Opening the door of the room for Jiang Yuyan, Noah let her in, but he preferred not to go inside and return to where Jake and Xiao Min were.

Jiang Yuyan went towards the bed where Lu Lijun slept. Standing there, she stared at him, who was in a deep sleep, not knowing what’s happening around him.

Sitting at the edge of the bed, Jiang Yuyan pulled the quilt little up to his chest, which was a little below.

“You did well today,” she spoke, staring at his calm face.

Memories of kid Lu Lijun flashed in front of her eyes when she used to take care of him.

“You turn out stronger than I thought. Thank you for not disappointing your brother.”

She sat there calmly for a while, staring at Lu Lijun and making sure he was fine while the three men stood outside quietly.

In a while, Jiang Yuyan came out of the room. Just as she reached the three, Jiang Yuyan spoke.

“He might not like to know I saw him in such condition.”

The meaning of her words was clear, not to tell Lu Lijun that she was there.

Jake and Noah understood, and Jiang Yuyan stepped out of the apartment as Xiao Min followed her.

Just as they left, Noah asked, “What should we do?”

“For now, do as she said,” Jake suggested, and Noah agreed.

The next morning Lu Lijun woke up, but he stayed silent, staring at the ceiling as if he missed something but didn’t know what it was.

Jake entered the room after waking up and saw Lu Lijun staring at the ceiling.

“Are you feeling fine?” Jake asked, but Lu Lijun didn’t even react.

“I’ll get something for a headache,” said Jake and turned to leave but had to stop as Lu Lijun asked something.

“Did someone come to see me?” Lu Lijun asked.

Hearing it, Jake stopped in his place, not knowing what to say, and saw Noah standing at the door, who listened to what Lu Lijun asked.

Noah entered the room and spoke, “Were you waiting for someone to come?”

Lu Lijun closed his eyes and didn’t answer.

“Your highness, please get something for him,” Noah instructed, and Jake left.

Noah went towards the bed as he had to talk to divert Lu Lijun’s attention from asking if someone was there. If Lu Lijun had asked directly, he couldn’t lie to him.

“Man, shouldn’t you complain about having a headache or something? Like every time you didn’t even ask if everything went fine after you drank.”

Lu Lijun sighed, “Was there any trouble?”

“Nothing much other than handling the totally wasted man who is heavy as f.u.c.k even to carry along to walk?” Noah answered.

Jake returned with one small bottle, which meant for a hangover, and smiled hearing what Noah said. Lu Lijun glared at him.

“His highness was busy diverting the attention of trouble makers,” Noah spoke, and Lu Lijun hummed.

Jake opened the bottle and passed it to him.

Accepting it, Lu Lijun emptied it in one go and turned silent as if trying to remember something.

“Was it a dream?” Lu Lijun mumbled.

Noah and Jake looked at each other as both felt tensed.

Noah chuckled, “Dream? Was it an e.r.o.t.i.c one?”

“F.u.c.k off,” Lu Lijun frowned.

“Well, first tell me. How can you sleep like dead meat? I almost got the feeling of sleeping beauty that I had to wake up only by kissing.” Noah had to divert Lu Lijun’s attention again.

Lu Lijun threw a pillow at Noah’s face, which he caught.

Not minding, Noah went closer to Lu Lijun, “You looked so pretty and kissable. Next time I’ll surely use the chance. Should I, my sleeping beauty?”

Lu Lijun picked up another pillow and pressed it on Noah’s face to push him away and then looked at Jake, who didn’t like the talk going on, and glared at the two.

Sensing Jake’s killer gaze, Lu Lijun pinched the bridge of his nose. Looking at Noah, he mumbled, “This idiot would be the death of me one day.”
