The next day, Emily cried when she arrived at the company.

Su Wan asked, “What happened to you?”

Emily said, “I broke up with my boyfriend.”

Su Wan could not help but look over.

That man seated there seemed out of place.

The impulsive atmosphere became calm at where he was.

Su Wan looked, and a feeling of familiarity overcame her.

Su Wan’s heart lit up.

Gu… Gu Jingyu?

Su Wan clenched her fingers. She wanted to go over but dared not.

They were familiar yet distant from each other.

They were more and more like strangers.

As though they were on two different roads—two separate straight roads that had no way of coming together.

She stood there and looked, and then she saw Sun Rourou return anxiously.

“Ah, where’s the order I just entered?”

“Oh, Su Wan had already sent it over.”

“What? Su Wan, what are you doing? That was my order.”

“I didn’t see anyone.”

Su Wan understood. Sun Rourou already knew who that customer was.

She said, “I’ll hand everything to you, even the cleaning up. Alright?”

“Really?”

She looked at Su Wan, walked over, and said, “Don’t you know that’s Gu Jingyu?”

“I know.”

“Then why aren’t you going over?”

“Don’t you want to go over?”
