Lu Beichen looked at the two women pouting.

Gu Jingze had already walked in.

Lin Che immediately ran over.

“Gu Jingze, was it a success?”

Gu Jingyan immediately got up and said, “You’re finally back, Second Brother.”

Lu Beichen looked at how enthusiastic the two of them were, and he was even more speechless.

He looked at Gu Jingze, not believing that he had it.

The way she deals with being alone with people would always make one want to get closer uncontrollably.

Her sincerity and everything was what made it very easy to move people.

Lu Beichen looked at Lu Qinyu, who was still lying in bed.

Lin Che stood there and watched. Her heart ached.

At the back, Black Eagle stood there coldly as though he did not even take a look at this side.

Lin Che looked at Black Eagle, looked up, and asked the doctor. “What’s going on now?”

The doctor sighed and shook his head. “It’s better to do the surgery as soon as possible.”

Lin Che understood and watched the doctor leave. She walked to stand in front of Lu Qinyu.

“We’ve already brought the item back for you. You can have your surgery now, which took us great lengths to acquire that even Mo Jinyan went along. Though he doesn’t say it, he has you in his heart. If you can get through this… we might unite as a family.”

She did not know if the person on the bed could hear that, but she thought he could.

She stretched out her hand and held his.

In a moment, it felt like that hand moved a little.

Lin Che was elated.

She knew that he could hear her.

There was not much time to prepare for the surgery. For the past few days, the doctor had already started preparing the best for the procedure. He had gotten the best medical treatments globally, the best devices, and the most advanced technology that he would use.

After all, the significant matter of life and death of the Old Grandmaster of the Lu family was definitely one that gathered the attention of many.

On the day of the surgery, they sealed all outside connections. Everyone watched the operating theatre light come on and sat there. Nobody talked for a period.

Gu Jingze held onto Lin Che’s hands. At the back, Black Eagle still held a cold expression. He was looking ahead as though it had nothing to do with him.

Lin Che saw that and shook her head.

If you really don’t care, then don’t come.

Lu Beichen looked outside, feeling unsettled.

Then he looked inside and felt even more uneasy.

He got up and took a cigarette. “I’m going out for a smoke.”

He went out and started smoking. Unexpectedly, at this time, someone attacked from behind.

Lu Beichen was shocked. Though confused, his reaction was still fast enough. In a moment, he grabbed onto the hand that had reached over and pinned the person onto the ground.

“Who are you?” Lu Beichen looked at the guy in front of him. He was wearing a white coat. He did not look simply like a doctor with that vicious face.

His eyes moved, and he had a bad feeling.

“Not good. Open the operating theatre.”

He kicked the guy aside, and that guy tumbled over before hitting the wall. Blood oozed out, but nobody went over.

Lu Beichen ran like the wind and kicked the door of the operating theatre.

Lin Che was shocked. “What are you doing?”

“Something’s not right with the operating theatre,” Lu Beichen called out as he charged into the midst of the operation.

Lin Che quickly followed in.

The operating theatre was full of blood. The operation was already midway, and the smell of disinfectant permeated the room.

There were helpers, nurses, and doctors.

They all stopped when Lu Beichen charged in.

“Doctor Chen, look around inside here. Who’s a doctor and who’s not a doctor?”

That doctor was stunned. “How…”

“Whoever isn’t a doctor, ha, don’t think about getting out of here alive.”

At this moment.

Someone who was standing right at the back suddenly kicked the doctor in front.

A gun and blood appeared on the doctor’s chest.

Suddenly, screams filled the entire operating theatre.

Everyone was in a panic as they tried to escape. They did not think that an ordinary surgery would turn out like this. These doctors had never encountered anything like this.

The attacker did not care about anything and started pushing the operating bed and ran out.

Lu Beichen shouted.

Outside, someone took over. After he had taken the bed, he turned back to fire his gun.

Lu Beichen was still in a daze, and suddenly, a strong person pushed him to the ground.

Lu Beichen looked up and saw Black Eagle’s cold face.

“They dare act wildly in my territory.”

Black Eagle took out his gun from his back.

So, he had been worried that something would happen that he carried such a powerful weapon on him.

He shot his gun, and the corridor in front turned into a bloodbath.

Black Eagle saw the men in front point the gun towards the man on the bed. He sent a flying kick over.

The gun was kicked out from the guy’s hands.

In the chaos, the people from the Gu family, Lu family, and the men Black Eagle had with him came rushing in.

Those attackers sensed something amiss and wanted to escape.

Black Eagle scoffed. “You want to escape? If you dare mess around here, there will be room for consequences. There’s no room for escape. I’ll let you know what’s coming here alive but not having a life out.”

As he spoke, Black Eagle directly jumped down from upstairs.

This was the fifth floor.

Lin Che shouted, “Black Eagle, what are you doing?!”

She rushed over and saw Black Eagle standing on the air conditioning box below. His action of jumping down, coupled with his black shadow under the sun, made it seem supernatural. He was faster than anyone.
