Charlotte looked at Lin Che. “Not too bad.”

Lin Che smiled. She had wanted to leave when she felt someone stop her from the back.

“Hey, hey, miss. How about a couple of drinks?”

A foreigner with slightly red cheeks was smiling at the both of them. He looked like he had quite a lot of drinks.

Charlotte got a fright.

Lin Che blocked Charlotte.

“Hey, Asian beauty. Why? You’re here for fun. Want to try my skills?”

That man got ruder with Lin Che.

He thought that Lin Che was someone from C Nation who had come over the country to play. He looked very impudent that his finger pointed to his lower part very suggestively as he talked.

Lin Che looked with disdain.

Charlotte scoffed as well. “Seriously, who do you think you are? She already has a boyfriend, and he’s much stronger than you. Move aside.”

That man was not bad looking. He looked like a prince of the nightclub who could get many beauties.

So, he boasted to Lin Che.

“Very well.” Zed looked at the man. “You can leave now.”

That man scoffed. “Why do I have to leave just because you say so?”

“Because you have to go.” From the back, a man walked in calmly.

Gu Jingze was here.

Gu Jingze looked at Zed and that man. He walked to Lin Che’s side and held onto her. “Now, can you leave?”

That man scoffed, and his eyes swept across all of them.

He was weak alone, so he had to throw his ego aside.

“Fine, I’ll leave.”

He turned around to leave.

Gu Jingze said, “Hang on, you forgot something.”

“What?” The man turned around and glanced around, not knowing what he had forgotten.

Instead, he saw Gu Jingze stretch his hand out. Then, this hand grabbed onto this man’s wrist.

A cracking sound…

The man howled in pain. Under all the music, it seemed soft.

However, everyone saw the pain and agony on his face.

Zed was dumbfounded for a moment.

But Gu Jingze acted like nothing happened and took a paper towel out to wipe his hands.

“Our first meeting, and I’ve become a joke.” He smiled.

At the back. Someone was already coming over to take that man away.

Charlotte thought he was super sophisticated.

Just because someone only made teasing remarks.

But it was merely suave in an overbearing way.

Lin Che breathed out loud. She was already pretty much used to it.

It could only be said that that guy was unlucky. He might not have had any consequences after teasing people in the past, but today, it was clear that he had teased the wrong person.

She tugged Gu Jingze, “Alright, we’re done. We can leave.”

Gu Jingze nodded his head solemnly.

Opposite them, Zed, too, breathed out loud. “Wow, you guys are good.”

Lin Che smiled faintly. “Thank you.”

Zed took a look at Charlotte and smiled a little.

The people behind teased.

“Hey, that girl blushed when she saw you.”

“She’s quite an adorable looking girl. Maybe she’s taken a liking to you?”

Zed turned his head back to look, and he looked a little shy as well.

When Lin Che brought Charlotte out, she said to her, “Looks like he isn’t too bad. It seems like your family isn’t harming you entirely.”

Charlotte said, “Ha… I’m just lucky that he’s not an old man.”

“Alright. You know, if you think about it, why would an older man choose you? For the sake of the Royal Family’s reputation, he’d have to choose someone closer to his age.”

Charlotte was still somewhat afraid. “Will he like me? I have a feeling that he wouldn’t.”

Charlotte pouted and told Gu Jingze, “So now, is my family giving you ginseng or not?”

Gu Jingze said, “They said they would give, but they haven’t said how.”

Charlotte replied, “Don’t worry. I’ll make sure they hand it to you.”

“How can you be so sure? They’re all adults. You don’t understand yet. Adults can be very complicated sometimes,” Gu Jingze said.

Charlotte replied, “But I know where they’ve kept the ginseng.”

Gu Jingze’s eyebrows moved.

His eyes turned bright.

“Oh? You know?”

“That’s right. If possible, I’ll take you guys there. But you need some skilled men to come along. If not, it’s not easy to enter there.”
