Ceng Kai was still watching when he suddenly heard a voice above his head.“Hey, what are you looking at down there? Come up and play a game or two.”
Ceng Kai looked up and saw that the person who had come over to talk to him was none other than Lu Beichen.

Ceng Kai even felt slightly happy. This was the first time Lu Beichen was speaking to him.

“Huh? Are you talking to me?”

Lu Beichen’s eyes narrowed. “Of course.”

Ceng Kai glanced at the others. Seeing that everyone was staring at them, he quickly nodded his head first. “Sure.”

He walked onto the basketball court. Everyone was actually harboring a lot of anticipation as they looked on. However, Lu Beichen tossed a basketball to him very forcefully, causing Ceng Kai to immediately move backward. He received the ball and looked at Lu Beichen.

Lu Beichen raised his eyebrows. “You go first.”

From the looks of it, Gu Jingyan seemed as if she was going to go against Lu Beichen.

Ceng Kai did not want Lu Beichen to do anything to her because of him.

Lu Beichen looked at her and smiled with his eyebrows raised. He looked evil and reckless. “Why?”

Gu Jingyan asked, “Is it fun to mess with people?”

Lu Beichen laughed out loud. “It’s fun.”

Gu Jingyan scoffed. “If you can, go and mess with those who know how to play. What’s the point of bullying those who don’t know how to play?”

With the ball in one hand, Lu Beichen moved closer to her bit by bit. “Why? He can’t be resenting me for it, right?”

Gu Jingyan said, “Each person is good at their own thing. So what if he doesn’t know how to play basketball? Do you know how to do everything? Let me remind you. Your results aren’t even half as good as his. At the very least, he’s at the top of his class. And you? What are you? Number what from the back?”

Lu Beichen’s expression changed completely.

Everyone pointed and stared at Gu Jingyan. This Gu Jingyan was was really too audacious. How dare she provoke Lu Beichen directly using her status as the teacher’s pet?
