Antonio placed his hands lightly on Audrielle’s cold hands.

“Stay strong for me My lady. For us.”

He bent low and kissed her forehead for the very last Time.

He straightened up and spared lady Lanna a glance.

” Thank you. ”

She nodded and watched the uncertainty that played in his eyes.

He made to leave the chamber when she suddenly stopped him.

“Be careful young prince. Gueneviere is very dangerous” she stated.

Antonio nodded.

Lanna brought out a necklace and handed over to him.

“This isn’t much compared to gueneviere, but it’s better than nothing. This necklace will protect you and your path.”

Antonio took the necklace from her and wore it.
“Thank you.” He said with so much gratitude.

Lady Lanna nodded.

“I won’t tell your mother you left already until she asks. I want you to know that, my spirit and that of my sisters fighting for the same cause will always be with you. ”

” Thank you so much. ” He smiled in appreciation before walking out of her presence.

He has never been this encouraged before. This determined.
He will not sit back and watch his woman’s life wane each passing minute.

Lady Lanna watched him disappear from her sight.

This journey is embarking on will take a day.
She just hopes he’s ready for whatever that comes his way.

The three women waited for her.

“What did you see?”
Sapphire asked Lanna the moment she opened her eyes.

Lanna stared at the three of them.

“Gueneviere resides in the prime Minister’s home as we speak. ”

Lady Castel exchanged glances with Rachel.

” Lord Ashton?.. he’s part of this too?”

” No. He’s not. I fear Lord Ashton is dead. ”
Lanna added.

“What?” The queen shirked in disbelief.

” When did this happen?.. I mean….. Okay! Okay!. Let’s go and meet her. Let’s go and …

“No. It doesn’t work that way.” Lanna cut into the Queen’s word.

” Then what happens now?..” Rachel asked.

” We stay back and think of a way to keep Audrielle alive. If we loose the princess then Killin gueneviere makes no sense… The curse will surely prevail and gueneviere will surface back to life to fulfill the curse’s purpose. ” Lanna replied.

She was telling the truth. Audrielle’s life matters the most now.

The queen sighed out tiredly as her head clouded with so many thoughts.

” Ill talk to my son about this first. He’s been worried lately.”

Lady Lanna swallowed hard as she heard those words.

Speaking of Antonio, he has gone a long way from the palace already.
So, finding him now will be a little problem.

“Why has no one seen The prince!”
The queen yelled at the maids and few guards.

They squirmed where they stood before her in fear.
Lady Castel paced about helplessly, fear and worry written all over her face.

“You all should get out of my sight this minute.!”
She banged the table and they scurried out in fear.

Lady Lanna Walked into the courtroom moments later and met the queen in a worried state.

“You shouldn’t bother too much about your son Casteline. Whatever he decides to do, he’s grown up and he can take responsibilities.”

Lanna retorted.

The queen gave her a suspicious look after she made such statement.

“What do you mean by whatever decision he decides to do.?.. is there something you are not telling me Lanna?”

Lady Castel narrowed her eyes at Lanna as she began to fidget.

“You better start talking. ” She added with a Stern look.

“Antonio has gone to pay gueneviere a visit.. ” She burst out.

“What! You told him where she is?… Are you out of your mind?…”
