And just like Tarsia’ had advised her. She forgot about the daymare in a jiffy and went about the day with no worries attached to it.

Antonio entertained his sympathizing guests before they went back to their various homes.
It was really a tough and tiring day.

It was dinner time and the household gathered together at the dinning.

Audrielle’s mother, Rachel and Simone her younger brother joined too. Lady Castel asked Rachel not to leave the palace yet cause she might need her for one or two things.

The dinner ended and everyone left with a filled stomach.

Night drew near and it was time for a rest.
They all retired to their various Chambers for sleep cause it was getting late.

“Let’s rest here tonight ” Sally dropped their bags under a big shady tree as she breath hard.

They’ve been walking all day and her legs felt numb and exhausted.

“Alright”. Sapphire nodded.
“But before first light, we move again. We have just two more days or a day to reach the palace. There is no time for us to spare. ”

She added. And Sally gave a short nod.

Tomorrow can worry about itself with the journey. But right now, she needed to rest. At Least gain enough strength for tomorrow’s journey.

The urgency in Sapphire’s voice told how important or rather dangerous this journey is. And they can’t mess up for the princess and her child is in grave danger.

“Audrielle..”
She heard the same voice again as she opened her eyes from her deep sleep.

The familiar voice kept calling to her with a strong force. She got up from her bed ,.. staring down at Antonio as he was still deep in his sleep.

” Audrielle… ”

She began to follow the voice.

The whispers called her from afar.

She opened her door and began to trace the whispers which slowly commanded her.

“Audrielle… ”

She looked her left to her right but all she could see was an empty passage way.

“I’m here. ” The voice said again, louder to her ears. But there was nobody beside or behind her.

Suddenly, a particular door creaked open causing her awareness.

She walked over to it like someone who’s been hypnotized.

The door gave way for her as she walked into the room. It happened to be the throne room.

“What took you so long “.. the creepy voice spoke out and Audrielle saw the image who sat solidly on the throne.

“Why do you keep calling me?”.. Audrielle asked.
She didn’t know if this was real or it was just an hallucination.

She didn’t know, but all she wished was to wake up from this dream,.. and that’s if it’s a dream.

The face of the lady was hidden in the shadow of the night. Only her voice could be heard, but audrielle could tell she was sitted on the throne.

“What do you want from me!!!!” She yelled.

“Death.”..

The sound of that word sent cold shivers down her spine.

“What?..”
Audrielle scoffed in fear.

The lady got up from the throne and walked into the dimlight which Shone into the room from the window.

Audrielle saw clearly her face. It was Alex.
Could it really be Alex. ?

Alex took slow steps towards audrielle causing her to move backwards.

“What do you want from me Alex?. Why do I keep seeing you in my dreams?.”

Alex laughed evily.

“Alex? !”..

” I know you’re hurt because Antonio left you but please you have to stop this torment. ” She said with shaky lips.

” Death”… The cold words sounded so faint from her lips as she drew closer to Audrielle.

“Stay away from me .” Audrielle cried as she moved backwards.

“Stay away from me!!!!” She screamed out!. As she shut her eyes.

Silence!.
Silence descended on the room.

Audrielle opened her eyes but could no longer see Alex.

She blinked out and almost let out a sigh of relief when suddenly she felt a sharp sting on her neck.

She gasped and flinched away immediately she saw Alex behind her.

Audrielle felt an aching pain on her neck.

“Why are you doing this?..”
She cried out.

” Death….”

“What is the meaning of what you’re saying. I have done nothing wrong to deserve any of this. “.

“Like a slow wind,… Death will come upon you and your child. ”

That was it, that was the last thing Audrielle heard before Alex disappeared.

“Stay away from me !!!!” She screamed in tears.

“Hey . Hey. Calm down audrielle. Breath.”..

Audrielle struggled forcefully with the arm that gripped her as she whimpered in tears.

“No. Stay away from me ” she cried trying so hard to push him off her.

“Calm down. Shhhh. It’s me. Its me. ”

His voice in small whispers calmed her down. Only then did she realized it was Antonio. Her husband.

She blinked her eyes nervously as she breath hard.

“What Happened?” She shivered into his arms.

“I should ask you that.
I woke up this morning and found you lying in the throne room. Your screams attracted me. ”

Audrielle gasped.
She stared round and indeed, she was in the throne room

“How did I get here?.. Antonio how did I get here?..” she cried in fear..

“You don’t know how you got here?.. ”

He asked, a bit surprised.

“No. I swear. I don’t. “..

“It’s okay. Come with me. ”

He carried her into his arms and led her out of the throne room.

Some servants who also got attracted by her screams that early morning watched as the prince carried his wife out, into their chamber.

“What do you think is wrong with our princess?”.. Berlina, one of the kitchen servant asked Aurora her mate.

“I do not know. This is strange. She has never acted this way before. You saw what Happened. You saw the look on her face. ” Aurora retorted as they returned back to their duties.

“She looked really scared. ”

“Maybe it’s just some nightmare. It’s probably nothing to bother about ” Aurora finalised as they returned back to what they were doing.

Audrielle couldn’t stop shaking.

Everything felt so real. She could still feel the effect of everything.
Why is this happening?.

“Here, drink this. It’ll help calm you down. ”

Antonio gave her a hot drink which she took from him without hesitation.

” you had a nightmare. “.. he said.

“No. It’s more than a nightmare. I think it’s real. If not, why would I find myself in the throne room without knowing how I got there”..

“Maybe it’s sleep walk. It happens sometimes. “..

“No. ” Audrielle shook her head immediately. ” I don’t sleep walk. .. I know what I saw. I saw Alex. I saw Alex. She threatened me. She threatened my child “.

Antonio stared unbelievably at her.

“Alex?.. ”
“Audrielle Alex has returned back to her place. There is no Alex. What are you talking about?.”
Antonio couldn’t place what she was saying.

“I know what I’m saying I just know this is not a nightmare. What if she’s trying to hurt me and our child. ”
She gripped his hand in fear.

“Calm down audrielle. Nothing will happen to you or our child. I promise. ”

He assured. But audrielle wasn’t calmed at all.

“I’ll be right back. ” He said as he got up and walked out of their chamber.

Audrielle breath sharply.
This felt too real to be just a dream.

She sighed out tiredly as she turned her face over to the window,.. she suddenly felt a sharp pain on her neck. The Same aching pain she had felt earlier with Alex.

She dropped her cup and walked over to the mirror.
She tucked her hair away from her neck as she stared into the mirror..

There, she found a small cut.
A flashback to her dream when she felt a sharp sting from Alex as she appeared behind her.

The cut was real.
This is no nightmare.

She drew closer to the mirror and the mark became more clearer.

That alone convinced her that it wasn’t a dream after all.

Something is really going on.

Why is all these happening now??..
