MRS RÓDRÍGUÉZ - EPISODE 76
“You have done well faithful servant.
Indeed, this belongs to her.
She gifted it to the prince so many years ago. I can get to her with this. ”
She smiled evily as she took her seat back on the carved stone.
She shut her eyes closed and began muttering in ancient language. One which Antonio paid a keen interest to as she continued the ritual.
*
“You really have to eat something Antonio. Please”
Audrielle begged her husband as he sat coldly in their Chambers.
He has been queit since he heard the news.
His attitude too cold that it scares audrielle. He doesn’t want him to hurt himself cause he’s taking the news really harder than expected.
“I do not want to eat” he replied gruffly. Not sparing her a look.
” But you really need to eat something. Please” she pleaded, arranging his breakfast on a wooden stool.
” I am not hungry. If I’m hungry, I’ll eat. ” He got up from where he sat and walked over to the window.
Audrielle sighed out tiredly.
She hates seeing him acting all cold towards her.
Slowly, she walked over to his behind and wrapped her arms around his back.
“Your father, the king still lives amongst us. He lives in our hearts too. Don’t make it look like he’s dead when he isn’t. He is still alive in our hearts. ”
.she pressed her face against his back as she breath in his unique scent.
“When he left with mother that day,.. I never knew that would be the last time I’ll see him. I never knew it was going to end this way. I’m pained deeply cause he left me a great responsibility which I am barely ready for.
He was a great man. A man I never expected his death.
How do I fit in his shoes?… This whole grief is weighing me down Audrielle. ”
The princess turned over to face him after listening to what he just said.
” You should know you’re never alone. You have me… And our unborn child. What else can you need to rule your people. I am out baby are solidly behind you.
So you’re never alone”..
She placed his hand on her stomach.
A small smile creased Antonio’s lips. He lowered his face and placed a soft kiss on her head.
“I will never forget I have you and our child by my side”.. he added, gently sliding up and down her belly with his right hand.
After a small pause, he drifted his gaze over to the stool which his food was placed on.
“I think I’m hungry. ”
Audrielle smiled radiantly at his statement as they walked back to eat.
*
The household was a bit queit and it was needed since they all got to know the sudden demise of their aged king.
Antonio nonetheless had a busy day at the throne room. He had guests who came to sympathize with his household for their loss.
Audrielle pleaded to stay behind with her husband in the throne room to receive the guests but Antonio refused blutantly. He advised her to go in and take a nap for her baby to rest too.
It was noon already and Audrielle had no choice. Besides, she was feeling rather weak and dizzy. She guess it’s the hormones that comes with pregnancy too.
She walked into her chamber and laid herself to rest after chewing on some fruits which she badly craved for.
It wasn’t long before she drifted into Oblivion.

The weather was so bright, she could see beautiful birds that flew above her heads. She stared round her environment, for she was in a rather unfamiliar field.
The field had no beginning neither an end. It was filled with so many beautiful flowers. All sprawled out in it’s glory and she felt so marveled at the sight.
” This is heavenly. ” She laughed happily as she picked some flowers from the garden.
“This will definitely fit into a vase in the palace” she added as she picked more into a bunch.
“Audrielle…. ”
She suddenly heard her name in small whispers.
She turned her back swiftly to see if anyone was behind her, but none.
Maybe it was just her thought. She said to herself as she resumed what she was doing.
“Audrielle. ” The voice came again, a bit louder this time and Audrielle could swear that voice sounded so familiar.

Like she’s heard from somewhere before. But can’t remember.
“Audrielle. ” The voice was bolder this time and when Audrielle turned around.
She saw her.
That familiar face. Someone she never ever wanted to see.
“Alex?”…
The lady smiled at her.
” I thought you were gone. I thought you were back to your country. What are you doing here?”
She asked, a bit confused.
Alex smiled. Instead she touched a particular flower in the garden and suddenly, it dried up.
“You’re Killin the flowers!” Audrielle grunted.
“Oh. Really?”.. Alex chuckled.
She touched another flower and this time, the entire flowers in the garden withered immediately. Even the ones in Audrielle’s hand.
Within a blink of an eye, audrielle found herself in a field which was no longer filled with flowers, but blood instead.
Blood was all she could see.
She turned round but could no longer see Alex.
She began to feel scared at the sight was terrible.
I
“Beware!”
The voice re-echoed in her ears so bad that she shut them close.
“Beware! ”
That was the last thing she heard before, everywhere turned void, and dark.
*
Suddenly, she woke up.
She was panting more than ever.
It was just a dream. She thought within as she wiped her sweaty face.
That was a terrible dream which looked almost real.
She still had a little fear in her.
She checked the time and it was evening already.
She climbed Down from her bed as she walked out of her Chambers.
*
“Wait. You saw her in your dream?.” Tarsia stared at audrielle as she finished narrating the dream to her.
” Yes. I swear it felt so real. Everything. I really don’t know why I’ll be having such terrible daymare. ”
She was breathing hard.
“Relax. I think you’re just tired. “..
” No. I’m not tired. Alex was really strange in my dream and I can vividly remember the last whispers I heard in my ears.
She said Beware!.. countless times in my head.”..
” Breath audrielle. It’s just a dream.
Alex is gone for good! She’s gone back to her country and probably started a new life. Everyone can have night or daymare. It’s normal. Please don’t let this bother you considering your condition ”
Tarsia tried to calm her friend down in all possible way.
“I don’t know Tarsia’, I have a really bad feeling about this. I just can’t get it off my mind. ”
“I understand what you’re saying. But please don’t take it personal.
It was just a dream. You need to forget about it. Maybe it’s part of being pregnant. Remember it’s your first time, weird things can happen in anyway.
Just don’t let it get to you. ”
Audrielle nodded.
“Maybe… ” She breath out.
She was gonna tell her mother about the dream, but hearing Tarsia’ tell her it’s nothing or probably part of pregnancy hormone. She calmed down a bit and shook off the idea.
It was just a dream. A short daymare. Maybe it’s because of the king’s death.
She mentally shook her head.
Her mother doesn’t have to know about the dream. It was just a daymare!.
She assured herself continuously before leaving Tarsia’s chamber.
