” I’m with a child my queen, I’m pregnant for the prince”..
She repeated fluently this time.

A cry of joy escaped the Queen’s lips immediately as cold tears of joy fell freely from her eyes.

Audrielle couldn’t tell why she was in tears. Or maybe the fact that she’s expecting a child, a grandchild gave her some grandmother chills and she couldn’t help it but she’d tears of joy.

The queen place her shaky fingers on Audrielle’s Tommy to feel it when a wide smile crept on her face.

“You are with a child?.. How,.. I mean you really don’t know the amount of good news this is..”
She finally said after feeling so much short of words.

“Don’t mind the tears,.. it’s part if the unending joy in me this great news has brought” .. she quickly comported herself as she wiped her face with her palm.

Audrielle nodded with a smile.

“Have you told your mother about this?”

“Not yet my queen . I wanted you to be the first to know when you return”

“Seems like you’ve been expecting my arrival then.”.. lady Castel chuckled. And audrielle nodded.

“No worries then. I’ll send words to your mother to Join us in the palace shortly for a family celebration. ”

Audrielle tilted her head toward the queen, a bit surprised.

” A family celebration?.. what for?. I haven’t put to bed yet. ” .. Even her own words of a baby marveled her. She’s going to be a mother soon and the feeling is just so exciting.

There is a living being inside of her. She thought within as her inners relaxed more to the glorious news.

“There’s a need for a family celebration. You do not know how great this news is to the entire kingdom itself.” The queen replied.

Audrielle nodded in her thoughts. Of course she knew. It’s a great joy to the kingdom Because she’s carrying their successor inside of her.

“Tonight, we’ll have a family celebration for this news is worth it. And I’m really glad cause this is literally the greatest news I’ve heard since I was born”
Lady Castel tapped Audrielle softly with a smile.

The depth of her words left Audrielle a bit confused. But still, she didn’t bother to ask any questions cause indeed, she had no questions in her head.

“A family celebration will be a great idea then”.. she concurred with a radiant smile as her mother in-law nodded vigorously.

“What is wrong with you princess?. A family celebration isn’t a bad idea as you make it sound” Tarsia’ rolled her eyes at her friend who narrated the Queen’s to her.

“No. I don’t mean to say it’s bad but … It sounds a bit somehow and it’s like the celebration is rather too prompt. I mean, I’m only pregnant.. something in me keeps telling me there’s more to such happiness. You could have seen the way she cried when I told her the news of my baby. I would never believe that would happen.”..

Tarsia stared at audrielle unbelievably.
” You sound so childish Audrielle. She’s going to be a grandmother to your child?.. isn’t that good news?. I am going to be an aunt too. Or is it because I didn’t cry when you first told me about this baby?.. well I stopped myself from crying in other not to look baby-ish before you…” She pouted.
Almost making audrielle laugh.

“Well as for what I think audrielle, it’s not a bad idea to cry. This is a successor to the throne. It surely is a great news. Why do you make it sound a bit suspicious like there’s more to it?.
You are overthinking this. It is natural. I bet you’ll feel the mother’s love in you when you finally put to bed this baby. Then you’ll understand perfectly well how the queen is feeling now”..

Audrielle nodded in agreement.
“Yeah. Maybe. “…
She breath out sharply.

At night, the complete family of the Rodriguez sat to merry at the good news .. The happiness of lady Castel and Mrs damiene knew no bounds. They were the most excited and only audrielle could notice that.

She consciously remembered what Tarsia’ said and it only made shook past her thoughts and smiled to everyone in response.

Simone was very playful especially around his sister, audrielle. Surely, he has missed her so much.

The fun lasted for some certain hours before everyone retired to bed.

“This is where you’ll sleep with your son.. tonight”
Lady Castel said to Audrielle’s mother, showing her to her chamber.

“Thank you. “.. Mrs damiene smiled as she placed her sleeping son on the bed.

“You’ll stay for some days too.. I think I’ll be needing you.”..

“Sure. You and I can’t deny the fact that the news has brought great hope to us all entirely. ” Mrs damiene added.

“Indeed. I talked with the midwife today before your arrival. And she calculated Audrielle’s duration. She confirmed she’ll birth her child before her 21st birthday. The heavens are by our side”

Mrs damiene smiled broadly at the news.

” Gueneviere’s curse will have no hold on us anymore. All that is left is for us to protect audrielle and the baby before Her date of delivery. Gueneviere is no more and we need to play our part very well. My daughter’s life and your son’s depend on this.”

The queen smiled with a serious nod after hearing Her speech.

“We will definitely play a great part. Just rest for tonight. ”
She retorted and made to leave when Audrielle’s mother stopped her.

“What if we tell them the entire truth?.. Don’t you think that’ll go a long way in protecting them and their baby?”

“No. Not at all. I do not see a reason for that. We need not worry for everything is settled. “..

Lady Castel shook against the thought immediately before walking out.
