“You have no idea what you’re doing. You do not know the great implications of what you’re about to do.”… Esmeralda shirked.

Mario laughed hard. “You’ll see”.

And just then, the door suddenly opened as Alex walked in.

“Tie her up and ready the horses. We ride to our destination tonight. ”

“What about your master?” Alex asked.

“He’s taken care of. ”

Alex did as she was told without further questions.
She readied the horses and inform Mario immediately.

“Where are we off to? And What is this power you speak of so dearly?.. ” Alex asked, Mario hasn’t filled her into the entire truth yet.

“We are traveling across the seven great mountains. You’ll get to know soon the reason for it.” He replied without hesitation.

“And how many days will that take?”

“Two to three days I presume. But we leave tonight to save time. Are the horses ready?”

Alex was queit for a short while. She didn’t understand what was really going on in that head of his.

Mario walked over to her and placed his lips close to her ear.

“You’ll understand everything very soon. Let’s leave and save time.. so now, are the horses ready?”..

Alex nodded in response.

He smiled and patted her on the shoulder.

“Let’s go. Take old Esme and tie her to her horse. We need her too. ” He added.

He walked out on her.
There was one thing he was missing.
His book.
Yes he needed his book for this journey too. The book will play a great part too.
He walked over to his room and grab the book into a sack bag which he strapped around his neck so it’ll never leave his sight.

He walked out and joined Alex outside.

The horses were ready, and so were they.

They hopped on and rode out of the premises.

–Two days Later–

“The queen is Back!.. The queen is Back!”
Cries of happiness filled the palace as Lady Castel Stepped out of the Royal carriage.

“My mother is back?”.. Antonio asked.
As he stood transfixed in his throne room.

“Yes, Her majesty is back.” The guard replied.

“And the king?”.. He asked a bit panicked.
That was the reason his parents left. To get his father treated.

“I didn’t see your highness. ” The guard replied with a bow.

Antonio walked out of the throne room immediately. Heading towards the entrance to receive his mother.

“The queen is back. She just arrived”.. Tarsia’ said to Audrielle placing the tray of fruits on her laps.

“Really?.. you saw her?” A wide smile escaped her lips.

“No I didn’t. But I heard it from the kitchen servants. She just arrived. “…
Tarsia retorted with a sigh.

Audrielle took the tray away from her thighs and placed it on the bed.

It was noon already and she has been in Tarsia’s chamber all day cause Antonio was very busy with some affairs and he didn’t want to stress her too much.
Obviously because of her condition.

“If the queen is back as you’ve heard. Let’s go welcome her and her husband. ”

She pulled Tarsia’ by the arm and leg her out of the room.

** Moments Later**

Lady Castel smiled at her son and then to Audrielle as she slowly sipped her cup of water in her Chambers.

” I’m glad my journey was peaceful..” she said.

“I’m glad too my queen”.. Audrielle replied.

Antonio was queit for a while. And his mother was quick to notice.

“Something troubles you Antonio, what is it?”

A sharp sigh escaped his lips.
“What about father?.. why didn’t he come with you?”

“Oh. He’s still having his treatment. In no time he’ll join us back here in Scotland. Besides, how have the palace been without me and your father?”
She asked instead. Trying hard to avoid her son’s question about the king.

“It has been good mother. I’ll join you shortly. I still have some issues to discuss with the counsels. ” He excused himself from his mother’s chamber.
It’s obvious the Queen’s response didn’t satiate the doubt he was having in him.

Lady Castel dropped her cup and stared at audrielle who looked rather timid.

“Audrielle…” She smiled.

“Yes my q-queen…”..

“How has things been with my son?.. “..

“Very Good my queen. “.. Audrielle replied almost immediately. She could feel very nervous.

“Does he still act cold towards you?”..

Audrielle shook her head. Then swallowed a hard lump in her throat before opening her mouth to speak.
“Uhm.. my queen,.. “..

“Yes Dearling?”

“I… I have something to t-tell you.”..
She stuttered.

“Come, sit here..”..
Lady Castel patted a side of the bed for her to sit.

Audrielle sat nervously as she played with her fingers.

“What is it you want to tell me?”.. her warm smile Never left her lips. The amount of kindness she shows to Audrielle made Audrielle felt extremely comfortable the first time she arrived the palace.

“My queen… I… I am.. “..

Lady Castel held her chin up and faced her.
“You don’t have to be afraid to say anything princess.. “..

Audrielle nodded.

“If my son maltreated you when I left, you don’t have to feel bad to confide in me.. “..

“No.. no.. that’s not it.. he didn’t..”.. audrielle quickly replied.

“Okay. Just feel free to tell me an..

“I’m with a child. ”

Lady Castel had few minutes to process the word for she couldn’t place the meaning of what Audrielle just said.

” I’m with a child my queen, I’m pregnant for the prince”..
She repeated fluently this time.

A cry of joy escaped the Queen’s lips immediately as cold tears of joy fell freely from her eyes.
