MRS RÓDRÍGUÉZ - EPISODE 65

They arrived the palace not too long that evening. The visit to old Esmeralda’s place was rather futile. She was nowhere near her home and it felt rather strange. She hardly goes out.

Even the last words Tarsia’ spoke to her about Sally, it caused a disturbance in her heart. Why does it feel like it’s very important?.. the letter was not a mistake, was it?..

The carriage parked at a corner and the princess alongside Tarsia’ stepped out, followed by the two guards.

“Oh, heavens i am so so farmished! ” Tarsia cried out, walking into the palace in a haste.
Audrielle chuckled at her behavior.

They were out since morning so it’s right for her to feel hungry. They haven’t had lunch, and the truth is she’s hungry as much too. But she has been suppressing her need to hunger.

She briskly walked into the palace. It felt a bit cold and her head was strangely spinning. She was feeling nauseous all of a sudden. She didn’t know why her body system changed the minute she walked in, but there’s one thing she knows, this is rather becoming constant and she doesn’t like it one bit.

” My princess, you’re back”.. the voice of the prince suddenly rang into her ears, distracting her from what she was feeling at the moment.

She tapped her forehead which had become a bit sweaty. “Oh yes, I just walked in”.. she replied with a heavy breath.

“Are you okay, ? You look stressed. ” Antonio pressed on, seeing the tired look on her face.

“I’m fine… I think I’m fine..”

“Well, then let’s get something to eat together,. I’ve been waiting for your return before I take something cause I know you didn’t have lunch”..

Audrielle tiredly nodded, she could barely hear what he was saying. Her head was spinning so bad and she could hear him indistinctly.

Prince Antonio stretched his arm out to receive hers, but he received a more shocking response as Audrielle collapsed on the ground without a warning.

“Guards!!!!” He yelled as he bent down.

“Audrielle?… Audrielle?.. ” he panicked hard, trying to revive her. But she was rather unconscious.

“Guards!!!! Someone get the healer!” He shouted to the rooftop as he carried her into her arms.

Lord Ashton stared blankly at old Esme after her narration.

He got up with a heavy heart. He felt a bit restless. The old lady is telling the truth. The tale of the witches are true but he never knew anything about the land being cursed.

” You have your answer now. You promised to leave the Royal household alone. ” Old Esme reminded.

A low grunt escaped Ashton’s lips. His mind was a riot already. This is too heavy for a night. This revelation .

“You should also know the Royal household won’t be the only ones to suffer this evil curse if it’s not prevented. You have a family. A daughter too. Imagine what would happen to the land if darkness falls upon it.

I know you seek power, but consider your family. Your daughter especially. Consider her and let the Royal household be ”

Lord Ashton groaned in confusion.

“I will speak to you in the morning”
He replied instead.

“Mario!!!” He called out. “Mario!!!”

It wasn’t long when he came running to his master.

“Take our guest to a place to rest her head for the night. But prepare her something to eat first. You may leave”

“Yes Master” Mario nodded and led Old Esme out.

Lord Ashton became lost in thought that instant.

Antonio paced about as the healer checked on Audrielle.
The princess is awake and currently undergoing treatment from the healer.

“What is wrong with me?” Audrielle breath tiredly, staring at the healer for an answer.

“How long have you been feeling this way, my lady?”

“A few days” she replied.

“I see” the healer exhaled sharply.
And then continued.

“There’s nothing wrong with you my lady,.. you were just stressed and probably you had no strength in you. You should eat more often, and take regular exercises, drink water and eat Alot of fruits . You shouldn’t ignore the part where you need to rest. Considering your condition.. ”

“What condition?” Prince Antonio asked.
Audrielle stared blankly at the healer.

“What condition are you talking about, healer?”

The healer stared at both of them in return.

“You are with a child, my lady. You’re pregnant.. ”

Audrielle gasped.

Her face immediately turned to Antonio whose jaw dropped in awe.

The healer felt a bit confused.
“You had no idea about it my lady?.. you are a week gone with a child. That’s why you’ve been feeling this way for the past days. ”

“Uhm… Uhm.. I beg your par…don.. are you sure about this?.. ” Audrielle stuttered, still unable to believe the idea that a child is inside of her as they speak.

“Why do you doubt?.. or are you still untouched?”…

“.. uhm.. that is a good news, why not give her some herbs to help her regain herself. Now that we know her condition” Antonio quickly cut into the healer’s words.

“Sure” the aged lady nodded and continued what she was doing.

Audrielle couldn’t place her thoughts together. She still felt confused.

She’s pregnant?…
She’s with a seed. A child and Antonio’s heir!.

It was night already and Audrielle was already fast asleep. Antonio had no sleep in his eyes, he seemed rather lost in thoughts.

He sat beside his sleeping wife and admired her so much. To him, she was his sleeping beauty. Her hair shined in it’s dark color. Audrielle’s eye’s have been one of the amazing things he loves about her, right since he was a child. She has the bluest eyes in the land and her dark hair wasn’t an exception too.

She was sleeping soundly and the thought of a baby sleeping inside of her too caused a tingle in his heart.

He is going to be a father. It felt rather exciting. He couldn’t comprehend the happiness in him. Though the pregnancy came in a wrong way but still, it couldn’t elude the happiness that swept his heart.

He carefully held Audrielle’s palm and caressed it. She was looking so beautiful in her sleep. So young and beautiful.

Deep down in his heart, he could feel how special she felt to him. The feeling of watching her sleep soundly was a satisfactory one. He doesn’t mind watching her this way till forever, he’s sure he won’t get tired.

He lowered his gaze and placed a long light kiss on her hand.
His lips brought warmth to her. She moved slightly on her bed as her eyes slowly opened.
