Tarsia has never been this angry her entire life. Right now, she didn’t care if he was the crowned prince or if he was with some guest.

She Marched forward.

” How much of a beast can you be?. Do you have no humanity in you?. ” Tears fell freely from her eyes as she spoke in anger.

Antonio got up.

The shock on their faces was one no one could explain.

“What sort of meaning is this?. Who let you in, guards!!”.. he called out.

“Calling the guard on me?, why don’t you go check on the princess and see for yourself, what you’ve done”

Antonio seethed in rage.

He walked over to her, pulling her arm, he led her towards the door himself.

“I will deal with you when I’m done here” he said with a whisper.

“Like you dealt with your wife?.. right”

Antonio suddenly stopped walking.

“What did you just say?” His face showed less expression.

” What did she ever do to you my prince?.. it wasn’t her fault you two got married, it wasn’t her fault she was never allowed to school for this purpose, this Union.

It was never her fault to be in this situation,.. but you treat her with so much disdain.!.. the only night supposed to be so perfect, especially for her, you took her without mercy,.. neglecting the fact that she was still yet a virgin”..

By this time Tarsia’ was soaked with her tears.

Antonio’s face shook to a pale one.

“What do you mean?.. the princess is no virgin. How do you call someone who sleeps around, a virgin?.. tell me,..”
He pulled her roughly by the arm and spoke with so much rashness.

He continued.. ” aren’t you her friend, you must be aware she sleeps around, .. you follow her everywhere. Even when she goes to see her man, Francis to get laid.. will you deny that?”.

“Francis?.. for the love of Pete, Francis is just a magician who plays prank at the market square,.. that’s where she always go,.. to see his pranks and be happy. “..

Antonio suddenly had a flashback**

“He’s only a prankster. I go there most times to feel a little better and Happy.”..

He suddenly remembered the princess’ words to him last night. He loosened his grip from Tarsia’..

“We were off to visit her mother yesterday evening. She came to get your permission but you were in a meeting. She relayed it to a guard instead just in case you asked of her.. “..

Tarsia wiped her face.

“My princess would never do such inhumane act, not when she’s married. ” Tarsia finally said.

“Where is she?”
He asked,..
If truly she was still a virgin, and he did that to her , then, he’s not worthy of her forgiveness.

“She’s not in a good condition, I fear so my prince”..

Antonio’s heart raced in fear.
He walked away from Tarsia’ immediately. Barging out of the throne room without a word.

From afar, the Duke and his wife felt oblivious of what was going on, but still, they knew something wasn’t right.

Antonio’s heart rioted with so many thoughts as he walked his way into his chamber.

How could he be so obnoxious?.. was his rage, his anger, was it that severe?..

He got into his Chambers and met audrielle on the bed.

He walked over to her side and noticed she looked so pale and obviously sleeping. She was burning up.

He panicked immediately.
Quickly, he called out to a guard.

“My Lord?..”

“Go get the healer. Right now!!!.”..

His eyes never left her face.
Her breath was light, and so was her face, pale.

The guard nodded and walked out immediately. Shutting the door behind.

He got up,
His eyes fell immediately to the bedsheet that was tossed on the floor.
That Happened to be theirs.

He reached for it. And noticed some bloodstains on it.
Memories of last night came flashing in his head. The way he took her, without mercy.

He let anger got the betterment of him.

Oh. If only he knew.

Guilt flushed his face. He couldn’t behold the sight of audrielle.

Her friend was right,… He is definitely a Beast.

*** Long Minutes Later ***

He waited outside of his chamber as the healer treated Audrielle. He felt so restless. The guests already left for they could no longer wait for him. He had something else on his mind.

Tarsia was beside him, but never said a word. Most times, she’d spare him some glances with an unread expression before looking away.

All these Antonio ignored, what he concerned himself about was Audrielle’s health. The heavy guilt he carried in his heart could not be comprehended.

The door suddenly opened, and just like they’ve been waiting for ages, they quickly faced the healer curiously.

“Your highness..

“How is she?.. ” they both asked impatiently, peeping into the room.

“You can come in your highness. Just you for now”..

Antonio nodded, then spared Tarsia’ a look before walking in.

“Your highness, the princess is unconscious for now. “.. the healer began.

Fear crept him.

“Her situation will be fine, but just with time. I couldn’t say this in presence of the other lady that’s why I called you in, alone.
The princess I fear, had an incident close to rape. I’m saying this because you’re her husband. She was still very intact, and whoever did this was rather too cruel and too big for her to take in.

A little warm water could have eased the excruciating pain a little but I guess she wasn’t aware of that. She’s seriously wounded, and needs time to heal.

I’ll come every morning and evening to apply some herbs on her. Till she finally wakes. But for the meantime, you can apply some potions I made, on her body. Especially at nights. That’ll still help.”

The healer stated.

Antonio nodded… He couldn’t place his words.

He just nodded slowly.
” I’ll…. I’ll do just that.”.. he assured. A bit shaken within him.

The healer took her bag and brought out a small container which she handed to the prince.

He took it from her before she left.

Moments after the healer left,.. he walked out of the chamber angrily.

“What did she say? .. what did the healer say?”.. Tarsia’ asked…

He didn’t say a word to her. He picked up with his angry pace and walked out of her presence.

“I want you, to repeat what you told me last night, about the princess..” ..

Leith trembled.

His majesty had this terrifying look on his face that he so much feared for his life.

” Forgive me your highness!”
Leith cried out as he fell down to his knees.

Antonio drew out a sword and tilted it towards his neck.

“You better start talking before I split you in two”..
