Words failed him. He just stood and watched her walk away.
His clenched heart felt a bit light after seeing her.

She’s okay.
That should be a relief.

“I slept in a better place last night your highness. And if your question is a way of saying sorry for intentionally bumping on my path. Then, apology accepted..”

What does she mean by that?.

He walked back into his court room and sat on a seat. His head replaying her words.

Where else could be a better place in the place?..

He doesn’t know why, but he can’t get those words off his head.

Audrielle palmed her head the moment she walked into her Chambers.

“That was pretty harsh, wasn’t it?” She thought aloud, asking no one in particular.

“But be did deserve it. How nasty of him. He didn’t even ask if I slept well or if I’ve had breakfast or at least a proper good morning!.. he deserved whatever answer I gave to him. ”

She Breathe hard.

She’s super upset with the prince. That, she couldn’t hide for a minute.

It’s a good thing she never met him in the room.
A good air to breath in for his absence.

She pulls off her baggy clothes which she forgot to change into something lighter Last night because she got very tipsy.

After ridding herself off those clothes, she made her way to the washroom to have a morning fresh bathe.

“You will not mention any of this to a soul.. Or I get you blackmailed. Now get out”.

She said to the guard, after putting on her clothes.

Lately, she’s been having some escapades with most of the palace guard.

At any slightest opportunity, she fills herself up with their manly thickness anytime she wants it.

She does this often, but in secret.

She never thought staying here would be more fun. Always having the guards without a word from them.

To her, if Antonio doesn’t make her feel like a woman, the palace guard will fill in the gap and satisfy her every want.

Hours turned to days, and still the palace felt cold for both the prince and princess.

It bothered Audrielle less cause she always got her friend to keep her company. Seeing Alex always with Antonio didn’t spike her like before. She had other places to be with her friend. The Montane field and off course, the Market square for a regular trick.

Alex on her path had her way with almost everything. She yearns for a touch almost all nights. She gets want she wants,… But the prince was her ultimate goal. She wanted the prince, and for her, time and patience was all she needed to curb him once more into her arms.

Antonio had his eyes on Audrielle as long as the days count.
He was aware of her sudden but regular movement. Her unexplained brightened mood lately.

And still, her words the other day kept playing in his head.

He couldn’t tell if the feeling he’s constantly having was reeked of jealousy.
Whatever be it, he didn’t like it. It made him grow constantly angry seeing her always happy and knowing he’s not the cause of her happiness.

What if she had another man?..
Another man who makes her this happy?. Another man who she spends her time with on most days.

What if?…

This was only an assumption,… There was just one way to confirm it.
And he hoped it better not be true.

“Leith…”
He called one of the guards immediately.

“Your highness..”
Leith beckoned to him.

“I want you, to keep a close watch on the princess movement. It has come to my knowledge that she goes out without a guard.

I want to know where she goes., The things she does outside and most especially the people she spends time with outside the palace.

Fill me every detail without a delay.
And most importantly, do not be seen by anyone or the princess…

She mustn’t know you follow her tracks..
Do this and provide me the answers”..

He ordered.

Leith nodded and walked away.

“I better be wrong with my thoughts…”

He said in his thoughts…
