MRS RÓDRÍGUÉZ - EPISODE 12
Audrielle sneaked out of the palace to meet her friend in the garden, where she had instructed one of the maids to tell her to wait.
Today was really tight for her. Glued to the Queen and so many things she was being taught as they thought it necessary for her young knowledge.
Everything was almost choking her. Her friend paying a visit was God sent at just the time she needed.
When the queen left to attend to something, she saw it as an opportunity to get out.
“Tarsia'” Audrielle called out, almost in a whisper. Drawing the attention of her friend who paced about.
“Audrielle…” Her face beamed with a radiant smile.
“Or wait…. Can I say, my princess??” She restated with a genuflect, seeing the way she was dressed.
“Oh please” Audrielle laughed.
“You look really different. And beautiful” she complimented her friend who tried hard to hide the blush on her cheeks.
Audrielle waved her off. Changing the topic. She wasn’t in the mood for compliments.
“You came at the right time. Indeed you are Godsent” Audrielle said with her left hand on her forehead.
“Anything the matter? You look tired”
“Off course I am tarsiee.. heaven knows I am” She breath hard.
“Have you been going through stress? Did the queen d–
“Certainly not. It’s just the loads and heavy duties that comes with being a princess. I’ve been trying to inconcate the Book of laws and doctrines. I fear that if I continue further, I might faint” She pouted.
“Then don’t continue. Take a break. Besides it’s your wedday tomorrow. You need all the rest you can get. Cause tomorrow will be a very very long day ”
“You are right. Thanks for coming anyway. I feel a bit relieved now” She truthfully admitted.
“I’ve been wanting to come. Since you are so tired, let’s visit Montane field. You won’t be this dull when we return”
Tarsia suggested.
Montane field- a regular place they visit whenever they are bored to earth. It’s like a second home to them. The field is heavenly. The carpet grasses as soft as silk material.
Lying on the grasses and rolling about is a feeling one can’t express. Right since childhood, It has always being their favorite place. Whenever Audrielle’s sad or upset, she goes there to seek solitude.
Montane isn’t as busy as other fields. It’s a rather queit place. And the two friend seems to be the regular visitors there.
“What if the queen notice my absence? ” The idea sounded okay to her but the thought of queen Castel notice on it, it doesn’t sound too convincing for her.
“She wouldn’t notice. We’ll be back before anything. It’s your wed day tomorrow, you need some inner peace to ease your mind. Don’t you think?”
“Yes. Yes heaven knows I need my mind to be at ease ”
Audrielle plainly admitted.
“Well c’mon then. Let’s hurry”
Tarsia pulled her friend by the hand and off they ran.

“Can’t remember the last time I had this much fun” Audrielle laughed heartily as she took a bite on her Apple. They were on their way back to the palace.
After spending about half an hour at the Montane field,They strode to the Market to get some fruits since they were hungry.
Everyone they passed had smiles on their faces like they knew them. Or is it just about her marriage arrangements with the prince??
And to think the apples they were eating are free.
“I still can’t find a reason why the apple seller refused to take a dime from me”
Audrielle started.
“Wasn’t she generous enough? ” Tarsia replied her friend with a mouthful.
“And the other people? You must have noticed the way they reacted to my greetings. Like they knew me from somewhere”
“Off course they know you to be the bride of their crowned prince. Isn’t that enough reason?? They are friendly because they like you..
And the woman who offered the apples for free was okay with it. It means you are safe with them”…
Tarsia’ emphasized more.
Speaking of safety* Audrielle’s mind had a flash back on the words the queen earlier said * Safety*
she talked about trust and safety. Even her mother said similar things.
This is a lot more complicated than she thought. Her mind going round the circles.
“You feel better now right?” Tarsia’ cut into her friend’s thought m

“Yes. I do.thanks for today”
“The pleasure’s all mine Audrielle. It’s a big day tomorrow. So I just thought you needed that”
“Bet I really needed it” … She paused, staring bit above their heads. She could see the palace. The sight of the big mashion skipped her heart a beat.
It reminded her of tomorrow.
Tomorrow- A day she’ll finally Become one with prince Antonio. She breath hard, gulping down nothing.
This will not be as easy as everyone thinks.
” This is the farthest I can go little woman” Tarsia’ chirped in, pausing her steps.
They were already close now.
Audrielle turned to her friend, her eyes turning liquid. Why does she miss her so much already?
“I wish you could stay tonight. I really need you” she said with pleading eyes.
“At first light I’ll be at the palace…” Tarsia’ assured.
Audrielle shook her head. ” No. Stay for tonight. Please. I’ll talk to your father… Please”
“What will the queen say?” She asked, a bit worried. She really wanted to stay with her friend.
” I’ll talk to her. Don’t worry”
“And my father?”
“I’ll send a letter to him.. he’ll understand”
Tarsia’ breath hard.
“Okay ” she said in defeat.
“Let’s hurry back before the queen gets worried”
***
They hurried back to the palace, breathing harder than they ought to be.
Yes, they raced down.
Just as they were about walking in, the entrance door suddenly opened and a man walked out. From the look on his face he was in no good mood.
As he climbed down the steep-stairs, his eyes locked with Audrielle’s.
Audrielle could swear he has never seen this man before and same was for the man. None has ever met. But his gaze on crawled on her skin.
He pulled himself into a coaster which was at the before the mashion … And rode of.
“Who was that?” Audrielle asked… Her eyes fixed on the coaster that slowly disappeared out of sight.
“You don’t know him? That’s Lord Ashton. The Duke of Edinburgh city”
“I don’t know him. ” Audrielle admitted.
“What was he doing here?” Tarsia’ asked.
“I do. Not know. His mood is tampered. I could see from his face. ”
” I guess so” Tarsie nodded.
When Lord Ashton was finally out of sight, they made their way into the mansion.
