Ms. Hayward hastily stood up and said, “Rest assured, I will definitely accomplish my task!”

At this point, she suddenly raised her head and said, “Respected executives, I have a request.”

“A request? What request?” An executive asked coldly.

Ms. Hayward gritted her teeth and said, “I require a shape-changing pill…”

The executives fell silent for a moment, later voicing coldly, “Is it for your Heaven Swallowing Python?”

“Yes…” Ms. Hayward lowered her head.

An executive coldly remarked, “Ms. Hayward, you’ve served the Capital City Martial Arts Association for many years. You should be aware that one shouldn’t form too many attachments when working here. It might affect the entire association.”

“Correct, if your heart is bound, then your sword will not be swift,” another executive added.

Ms. Hayward raised her head and pleaded, “I’ve dedicated my whole life to the Association and have remained single, without any descendants. Now, the only thing that matters to me is Broderick.”

“I implore the high-ranking to grant me the shape-changing pill considering my wholehearted dedication!”

The executives appeared somewhat moved.

After a moment, an executive said, “Collect it in three days.”

Ms. Hayward quickly bowed and said, “Thank you, respected executives!”

After leaving the meeting room, she quickly headed toward the house of the man with the mustache.

Unfortunately, no one was present in the mansion.

Elsewhere, Emerson Holmes was urgently making a call to Ethan Smith.

At this time, Ethan hadn’t yet boarded his flight and his phone was still on.

After answering the call, Emerson relayed the situation to Ethan.

“You urgently need to hide that little girl and the bodies you have in your possession,” Emerson said in a deep voice.

Ethan stroked his chin and chuckled, “I figured they would do something like this. Don’t worry, I’ll handle it appropriately.”

A plane flew high in the sky.

When Ethan arrived at Pyro, it was already midnight.

After much thought, Ethan decided to hide the coffin, paintings, and bodies in River City.

That was his hometown and the safest place.

That same night, Ethan hurried back to River City, hiding the coffin in the yard of his family’s home.

After tending to all of this, it was already morning.

Ethan wiped the sweat from his forehead. He looked around at his surroundings and whispered, “It’s been a long time since I’ve been back.”

There were people Ethan was indebted to here, but he had barely any time for a pause.

So, he didn’t inform anyone, and at the dawn, headed back to the Capital City Martial Arts Academy in his car.

As soon as he returned to the house of the man with the mustache, he saw two figures in purple robes standing at the entrance.

Ethan walked straight up to them and asked half-jokingly, “Respected gentlemen in the purple robes, may I ask what brings you here?”

The two figures in purple glanced at each other before saying, “Ethan Smith, where have you been these few days! Why didn’t you inform us in advance!”

Ethan scoffed, “I do not believe I’m required to inform you regarding my whereabouts, am I?”

The two figures in purple sternly responded, “You are now involved in a significant matter. We need to restrict your movements temporarily. We hope you cooperate.”

“Cooperate my ass!” Ethan said, sounding faintly annoyed.

“Go and tell Ms. Hayward, if there’s something to say, say it and don’t waste my time.”

After tossing out these words, Ethan planned to enter.

But the two purple-robed figures stepped forward, blocking Ethan’s path.

Ethan’s face turned cold and he instantly radiated an intense murderous spirit!

Upon detecting this murderous intention, not only did the two robed figures flinch, even the man with the mustache couldn’t help but change his complexion!

“Hey, hey, hey, let’s cool down. If there’s an issue at hand, let Ms. Hayward handle it,” the man with the mustache quickly tried to mediate.

The two figures, already terrified, were given a way out by the man with the mustache and quickly retreated.

Once they left, the man with the mustache frowned and said, “Ethan, you really should keep your murderous spirit under control a bit more.”

Ethan also had a slight frown on his face.

Ever since he attained the Power of Martial Saint, he found this murderous spirit seemed uncontrollable and could erupt at any moment.

“If you hadn’t interrupted just now, I might have already killed the two of them,” Ethan said softly.

The man with the mustache chuckled bitterly, “If you keep this up, I’m going to fear that you might become the next masked woman.”

And Ms. Hayward herself strode into the mansion.

At this time, Ethan was sitting in the great hall sipping tea, appearing rather pleased with himself.

“Ethan, you’ve finally returned,” Ms. Hayward said coldly.

Ethan raised an eyebrow and replied, “You old beast, you certainly have a long life. I thought you were dead.”

Ms. Hayward’s expression chilled as she retorted, “Hand over those bodies immediately!”

Ethan put down his tea cup and said, “If I hand them over, you’re not afraid they’ll slap you to death, are you?”

An evident fright flashed across Ms. Hayward’s face, and she inadvertently took a step back.

Obviously, the incident from last time left a shadow on her.

Ms. Hayward took a deep breath and said sternly, “Ethan, I am here under the orders of the superiors to ask you for the bodies, as well as that little girl.”

“This isn’t about personal grudges between you and me. It’s an order from the highest level of the Capital City Martial Arts Association!”

Ethan scoffed coldly, “What qualifications do they have to order me? They are your superiors, not mine.”

“Want the bodies? Fine, hand over Emily Taylor in exchange!”

Ms. Hayward’s expression instantly cooled.

“Ethan, I would advise you not to overstep your boundaries when given some leeway!” Ms. Hayward’s aura filled with murderous intent.

Ethan’s eyes narrowed, and his aura with the same murderous intent erupted!

“Are you threatening me?” Ethan rose from his seat.

Ethan’s aura was incomparably powerful, and it suppressed Ms. Hayward’s in an instant!

Even Ms. Hayward couldn’t help but slightly change her expression.

Ethan looked at the man with the mustache, and without hesitation, laughed and said, “Okay, I agree.”
