The next day.

Ethan Smith was still lying in bed with his eyes closed when there was a knock on the door.

As the door opened, Tilda Avery was seen standing at the entrance.

“Mrs. Avery,” Ethan quickly ushered her in.

Tilda nodded slightly and sat down across from Ethan with breakfast in hand.

“Have your breakfast first,” Tilda said.

Ethan did not stand on ceremony and started eating his meals immediately.

“I came here today to tell you some good news,” Tilda said with a smile.

Ethan’s eyes lit up, and he hurriedly said, “Mrs. Avery, please tell me.”

Tilda smiled, “After our discussion, we’ve decided to infuse the Power of Martial Saint into your body.”

“Thank you, Mrs. Avery!” Ethan was overjoyed and quickly got up to thank her.

Tilda laughed, “If you want to thank anyone, thank your Pavilion Master. It’s because she’s willing to vouch for you that we trust you.”

Upon hearing this, Ethan felt even more gratitude towards the Pavilion Master in his heart.

“Although we agreed to infuse the Power of Martial Saint into you, there is still a problem at the moment,” Tilda said.

“You said you would owe our Avery family a favor and guarantee our family’s eternal existence, right?” Tilda asked.

“That’s right,” Ethan nodded.

“Alright,” Ethan nodded, trying to suppress the excitement in his heart.

After Tilda left, Ethan couldn’t calm his emotions for the rest of the day.

Accompanied by a loud rumble, the gate of the fortress slowly opened!

The moment the gate opened, an antique atmosphere rushed towards them.

Tilda took the lead in stepping inside, looking at Ethan and saying, “Come in.”

Not wanting to waste any time, Ethan quickly followed her in.

Beams of light lit up the room, and it was quite spacious within the fortress.

In the center of the room was a large circular plate.

The plate was covered in dense talisman inscriptions, and at its center was a rusty small lock.

Ethan had never seen the Power of Martial Saint before and had no idea how it would be infused into him.

Looking at the scene before him, he was surprised, “Is this the Power of Martial Saint?”

Tilda ignored Ethan’s question and walked to the center of the plate. She put her hands together and whispered, as if casting some technique.

Then, Tilda bit her fingertip and dripped a drop of blood onto the plate’s center.

“Boom…”

After a moment, the plate suddenly rumbled and began to spin slowly.

Brilliant lights burst from the plate, followed by an overwhelming sense of power!

Ethan’s expression turned solemn, and he involuntarily took two steps back.

Suddenly, an impressive figure appeared above the radiant light.

The figure was tall and handsome with an air of looking down upon the world.

In his deep, mesmerizing eyes, a captivating charm like that of stars shone.

Tilda knelt down and whispered, “Please, Old Ancestor, infuse me with the Power of Martial Saint to help the Avery family tide over this crisis.”

The cold gaze of the figure swept over Tilda. His eyes lingered on her body, then he sighed, “So the Avery family has finally come to this point.”

Tilda remained silent, just kneeling with her hands together.

“Very well, I shall use the last of my strength to protect the Avery family,” the Old Ancestor said coldly.

Hearing his words, Tilda immediately looked at Ethan.

Ethan wasted no time, quickly stepping forward and standing before the Old Ancestor.

With hands clasped and a slight bow, his face showed an expression of respect.

The figure slowly raised his palm, and in an instant, a dazzling light shone. Beams of powerful energy rushed towards Ethan’s head!

For a moment, Ethan felt a warm flow coursing through his body, traveling from the top of his head down to various parts of his body.

An astonishing amount of energy brewed within Ethan’s body.

As the Old Ancestor infused the Power of Martial Saint into him, his figure began to fade.

Ethan’s dantian was filled with a powerful force that didn’t belong to him.

It was an unfathomable strength beyond his wildest imagination, something he had never felt before!

It seemed that his entire body had undergone a transformation at that moment, his flesh even becoming more indestructible!

The process took a full three hours before gradually coming to an end, and at this point, the Old Ancestor’s figure was already somewhat blurred.

“Young one, remember, never allow my Avery Family to perish!” The figure left behind his final obsession before fading away and vanishing completely.
