Inside the mansion.

Ethan Smith sat alone under the moonlight, slightly adjusting his breath.

As his strength grew more and more powerful, the difficulty of improving his realm became more and more difficult.

“You’ve encountered some difficulties?” A look of surprise crossed Ethan Smith’s face.

The woman continued, “Yes, I’m being hunted down by a group of people. Now they are hiding outside the Capital City Martial Arts Association. If I step out the door, I will fall into their hands…”

Looking at the pitiful woman in front of him, a hint of mockery flashed across Ethan Smith’s face.

“So what do you want me to do?” Ethan Smith asked.

The woman hurriedly replied, “Please help me kill them! As long as they are dead, I’ll be safe!”

“Mr. Smith, I’ll do anything you want if you help me!”

Ethan Smith sneered, “Why should I help you?”

“If you don’t help me, I’ll have no choice but to die…” The woman whimpered softly.

“What does your life or death have to do with me? Do I know you?” Ethan Smith asked coldly.

The woman opened her mouth to say something, but Ethan Smith waved his hand to interrupt her.

“I won’t help you. Leave,” Ethan Smith said coldly.

“Mr. Smith, I…”

“I told you to leave, can’t you understand?” Ethan Smith said coldly.

Having no choice, the woman stood up, clenched her teeth, and walked out.

Ethan Smith was not a person overflowing with sympathy.

Moreover, the woman’s words were full of holes and hard to believe.

In the woods, the woman recounted the incident to Ms. Hayward.

Ms. Hayward scolded with a cold face, “Useless! If you can’t even do this, how can I trust you!”

The woman opened her mouth, biting her lip and whispered, “Ethan Smith is immune to flattery. He doesn’t believe my words at all. I….”

“Bang!”

Before the woman could finish her words, she was suddenly slapped in the chest!

The slap sent her staggering backward, her chest nearly crushed, and blood flowed from her mouth.

Severe pain made it difficult for her to breathe, and her beautiful face became pale.

Looking up, she saw Ms. Hayward looking at her coldly.

“Ms. Hayward, you…” The woman pointed at Ms. Hayward, her face full of disbelief.

Ms. Hayward sneered, “This will make it more believable. Go, find a way to deceive him.”

The woman’s face turned incredibly ugly, but there was no turning back now. She was stuck between a rock and a hard place.

She could only endure the pain and head towards Ethan Smith’s mansion once again.

About ten minutes later.

The woman reappeared in front of Ethan Smith.

This time, she looked terrible.

Her collapsed chest area was shocking, and blood continued to flow from the corners of her mouth.

“Mr. Smith, please help me, or… or I will die…” The woman said painfully.

Seeing her like this, Ethan Smith couldn’t help but frown.”She’s really going all out, injuring herself like that?” Ethan Smith couldn’t help but sneer in his heart.

Just as Ethan was about to refuse, another figure appeared at the doorway.

It was none other than Dominic Taylor.

“Tsk tsk, Ethan, you really have a heart of stone. Someone’s begging you for help, and you’re not even moved?” Dominic spoke mockingly.

Ethan glanced at him and said, “If you can’t bear it, feel free to help her yourself.”

Dominic shrugged and said, “I can’t, she’s asking for you, not me.”

“Tsk tsk, isn’t there someone who claims to stand on the side of ordinary people? Now that someone is seeking help, you remain unmoved – such hypocrisy.” Dominic continued to ridicule.

Hearing this, Ethan slowly stood up.

He looked at the woman and squinted his eyes, saying, “I’ll give you one chance. Tell me, who sent you?”

The woman’s eyes flashed with panic, and she hurriedly said, “No one… no one sent me… ”

From her expression, Ethan became more certain of his thoughts.

Ethan looked at the wound on her chest and said solemnly, “Being so ruthless to yourself, be careful not to lose your own life in the process.”

Hearing Ethan’s words, the woman clenched her teeth and lowered her head slightly.

After a moment of contemplation, Ethan said, “You go first, I’ll be there shortly.”

The woman nodded hurriedly and said, “Thank you, Mr. Smith!”

After the woman left, Ethan walked straight out of the door.

“Tsk tsk, your sympathy is overflowing, isn’t it?” Seeing Ethan had agreed to help, Dominic taunted him again.

Ethan glanced at him and said, “Why has your asshole grown onto your face? Stay away from me, you stink.”

Dominic’s face suddenly turned cold.

He snorted, “You vulgar creature.”

Ethan didn’t bother acknowledging Dominic, instead turning around and leaving the Mansion, heading straight for the Martial Arts Academy.

In the woods.

Ms. Hayward was staring coldly at the woman.

“Half an hour has passed, where is he?” Ms. Hayward’s voice was icy.

The woman quickly said, “Ms. Hayward, he really said he’ll be here soon, please… wait a bit longer.”

However, Ms. Hayward spoke impatiently, “You foolish woman, did he trick you again?”

“No… no, he really promised me…” The woman’s face flashed with panic.

Ms. Hayward squinted her eyes.

Just as she was about to speak, she sensed a presence approaching them.

“He’s here.” A cold smile appeared on Ms. Hayward’s face.

Shortly after, Ethan’s figure appeared before them.

“Ms. Hayward, he’s here!” The woman exclaimed excitedly.

Not uttering a word, Ms. Hayward just quietly stared at Ethan in the distance.

“Ms. Hayward, please don’t forget the bloodline you promised me.” The woman carefully said.

Ms. Hayward looked at her and then grinned, “Don’t worry, I won’t forget, of course.”

As her words trailed off, Ms. Hayward suddenly extended her claw-like hand, striking the woman’s head!

With a “crack” sound, the woman’s head was shattered!

“A mere nobody coveting the bloodline? What a deluded daydream.” Ms. Hayward spoke sinisterly.

Upon seeing this, Ethan shook his head in resignation.

He had already warned her, but her own desires ultimately led to her death.

“You really are ruthless. Aren’t you afraid this will ruin your reputation?” Ethan looked at Ms. Hayward and said coldly.

Ms. Hayward calmly replied, “You’re the one who killed her. Why should I be afraid?”

“Ethan Smith took advantage of a female student and killed her to cover up his deeds.” With her hands behind her back, Ms. Hayward spoke casually.
