The gigantic sphere of light was sucked into Ethan Smith’s stomach as he opened his mouth!

They watched as the sphere shrank smaller and smaller, until it disappeared completely!

Ethan Smith patted his stomach and belched, a satisfied expression on his face.

“Not bad; feels good,” Ethan Smith said, grinning.

Bert Mercer, standing not far off, had an unbearable look on his face! Sweat was pouring from his forehead.

“How… how is this possible…” Bert swallowed hard, seeming unable to believe the scene before him.

Ethan Smith glanced coldly at Bert, remarking, “If this is your trump card, then you’re on a one-way street to death.”

Bert Mercer gritted his teeth and, gripping his automatic crossbow, said coldly, “Ethan Smith, you are going too far!”

To finish, Bert was like a madman, grabbing the crossbow in his hand and repeatedly launching techniques at Ethan Smith!

The sky was filled with radiant light, almost completely demolishing the ground beneath them!

Yet Ethan Smith, filled with golden light, was entirely unaffected.

Despite the bombardment, Ethan Smith was still in perfect condition.

“Are you done? It’s my turn,” Ethan Smith said coldly.

Bert wiped the sweat from his brow; just as he was about to speak, Ethan Smith’s figure disappeared into thin air!

The next second, he saw a golden flash before his eyes.

Then, a giant fist came crashing down on the automatic crossbow!

“Boom!”

This fist, packing the force of ten thousand catties and accompanied by golden light, smashed the automatic crossbow to smithereens!

Bert Mercer’s source of pride, his weapon, was annihilated!

“You… you actually destroyed my weapon!” Bert Mercer turned deathly pale!

Ethan Smith sneered, “As far as I know, most of your power comes from this weapon, am I right?”

Bert Mercer’s face went white, but he said nothing.

“Without this weapon now, your Peak Form of Military Marquis is, I’m afraid, nothing but empty bragging,” Ethan Smith looked down at Bert with a cold gleam of killing intent in his eyes.

Bert gritted his teeth, and roared, “Ethan Smith, don’t be so arrogant!”

After saying that, Bert gripped his fist and fiercely swung at Ethan Smith!

Although Bert is, after all, at the Peak Form of Military Marquis Realm, his power goes without saying.

But this punch landed on Ethan, yet not so much as a scratch was inflicted; instead, the blow hurt his own wrist so much!

“This… this….” Bert retreated a couple of steps, a flicker of panic crossing his face, before he tried to run!

But how could Ethan Smith give him that chance? A large, golden hand appeared, covering the sky and earth, and landed flat on Bert, pushing him to the ground!

A large handprint appeared on the ground.

And Bert’s body was almost squashed into a meat patty!

Before Bert could get up, a golden fist was already falling from the sky!

“Boom!”

With the impact of this punch, Bert’s spine was shattered on the spot! Dozens of bones were instantaneously crushed to powder!

Bert tried to get up, but found that without the support of his bones, he couldn’t stand up at all!

“So, this is the Peak Form of Military Marquis Realm? It’s nothing,” Ethan Smith coldly looked at Bert.

Bert said painfully, “Spare me… I beg you… spare me…”

“Spare you? You’ve got blood on your hands, and have been alive for decades too many. It’s time you paid the price,” Ethan Smith coldly said.

Bert wanted to say something else, but Ethan Smith didn’t give him the chance.

He reached out a palm, aiming for Bert’s dantian.

The next second, Ethan Smith tightened his fingers and ripped Bert’s golden core out of his belly.

Bert Mercer’s life force rapidly drained away, and in no time, he turned into a cold corpse.

Ethan Smith toyed with the golden core, surprised to find that this golden core was a few points larger than all the golden cores he had seen before.

“Could it be that the golden core of the Peak Form of Military Marquis is larger?” Ethan Smith pondered silently.

He didn’t rush to swallow the golden core. Instead, he planned to keep it for the day he would break through to the rank of Martial Saint.

Pocketing the golden core, Ethan Smith picked up Bert Mercer’s corpse and walked towards Daphne Green.

“Mr. Smith, your strength truly shocks those around you,” Daphne Green said with a smile.

“In just two years, Mr. Smith has demonstrated such power. It’s truly astounding,” she added.

Ethan Smith laughed and said, “Miss Green, you flatter me.”

At one side, Tyler Wright remarked, “No wonder Miss Taylor likes you. Mr. Smith, you’re truly like a timeless hero, full of charm.”

The praises from the two made Ethan Smith somewhat embarrassed.

“If there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave,” Ethan Smith said.

Daphne Green laughed and said, “Okay, Mr. Smith, see you in the Martial Arts Academy in a few days.”

Ethan Smith agreed before leaving with Bert Mercer’s corpse.

As Ms. Hayward was about to leave the Capital City Martial Arts Association and head to the Martial Arts Academy, she saw the corpse hanging at the gate.

Upon seeing the corpse, Ms. Hayward’s face drastically changed!

Even though Mercer’s physical body was almost shattered, Ms. Hayward recognized him at a glance.

“Bert Mercer… he’s actually dead,” Ms. Hayward said with a face cold as ice.

“Ms. Hayward, what… what happened here?” Emerson Holmes, feigning surprise, asked.

Ms. Hayward didn’t answer, but ordered, “Dispose of the corpse.”

“Yes!” Emerson Holmes replied, quickly nodding.

He was overjoyed deep down.

He never expected that Bert Mercer would be killed by Ethan Smith!

Remember, Mercer was in the Peak Form of Military Marquis Realm!

“It seems my decision was not wrong,” Emerson Holmes thought to himself.

Without another word, Ms. Hayward turned around and headed towards the Martial Arts Academy.

Once at the Martial Arts Academy, Ms. Hayward went straight to Broderick’s room.

“Ms. Hayward.” Upon seeing Ms. Hayward, Broderick stood up immediately.

Ms. Hayward said curtly, “Broderick, come with me immediately.”

“Where to?” Broderick asked, somewhat surprised.

Ms. Hayward coldly replied, “I need to take you to the Mystic Realm, we can’t wait any longer.”

“To the Mystic Realm?” Broderick was even more baffled.

Ms. Hayward glanced at him and said, “Bert Mercer died at the hands of Ethan Smith. This is a clear sign that Ethan Smith is not the same as before.”

“To prevent any mishaps, I’ll take you to bathe in Emily Taylor’s blood and inherit her bloodline powers.”

Broderick laughed and said, “Ms. Hayward, there’s no need for that. That Ethan Smith is nothing.”

“Yeah, I’m just a minor character, why bother?” Just then, Ethan Smith suddenly appeared at the door.

Ms. Hayward’s face turned cold as she darkly said, “Ethan Smith, who invited you here?”

Ethan Smith glanced at Broderick before saying with slight mockery, “Seems like you don’t have much faith in the beast you’re raising.”

“Ethan Smith, you’re courting death!” Triggered by Ethan’s words, Broderick took a step forward, his aura exploding with force!
