“Ms. Hayward, shall we kill him?” several men in purple robes asked.

Ms. Hayward’s face turned gloomy as she said, “No, I have a wager with him, so I can’t kill him.”

At that point, Ms. Hayward paused and continued with a sinister expression, “Although I can’t kill him, crippling him is something to consider… He dreams of getting his hands on the Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials!”

Meanwhile, Ethan Smith was unaware of all this.

At this moment, all he could think about was how to get the Noble Family to help him.

Compliments and flattery probably wouldn’t work.

As Ethan approached the entrance of the clubhouse, security stopped him.

“Sir, this is a members-only club and not open to the public,” the security guard said.

“I’m here to see Guy Noble, he invited me,” Ethan pointed inside and explained.

The security guard examined Ethan from head to toe and asked, “Are you Ethan Smith?”

“That’s right,” Ethan nodded.

A flash of excitement appeared in the security guard’s eyes. He grabbed Ethan’s arm and said, “Mr. Smith, I’m a big fan of yours! I think the things you’ve done are incredibly cool!”

Afterward, the security guard continued praising Ethan, recounting most of his past exploits and growing more excited as he talked.

“I’m sorry, I need to discuss something with Mr. Tenny. Can I go in now?” Left with no choice, Ethan interrupted the security guard’s speech.

The security guard immediately nodded, “Mr. Smith, please go ahead. After you’re done with your business, could we have a meal together?”

Ethan smiled and replied, “Of course, no problem. I’ll treat you to dinner later.”

The security guard was overjoyed and said with anticipation, “Great, I’ll be waiting for you!”

Ethan didn’t say anything more, and quickly walked in.

Blue light shone throughout the clubhouse interior.

In the center of the Great Hall sat Guy Noble.

He lounged lazily on the couch, with a table full of alcohol in front of him.

Ethan walked quickly over and asked with surprise, “Why are you alone today? Where are the twenty-something Marquis?”

Guy Noble sat up and waved his hand, “I’m just out to have fun. No need for a big show.”

After that, Guy Noble handed a bottle of alcohol to Ethan and said, “Come, have a drink with me.”

Ethan didn’t say much and emptied the glass in one go.

After a bottle of alcohol, Guy Noble asked, “What did you want to discuss with me? Just tell me.”

Ethan paused for a moment before saying, “Actually, I do have a favor to ask.”

“It’s about the Ten-thousand-year-old Medicinal Materials, isn’t it?” Guy Noble casually said.

Ethan nodded, “That’s right. Since the news of the Medicinal Materials has been leaked, who knows how many people will be eyeing them.”

Guy Noble snorted, “That’s only because our Noble Family hasn’t made a move. Otherwise, who would dare to touch it?”

Ethan smiled, “Of course, if the Noble Family were to take action, everyone else would probably give up right away.”

After the series of compliments, a satisfied smile spread across Guy Noble’s face.

He chugged another bottle of alcohol and asked, “Tell me, what do you want me to do?”

Feeling a bit embarrassed, Ethan said, “I was thinking… If it’s convenient for the Noble Family, could you lend me some manpower…”

“Lend you manpower?” Guy Noble raised an eyebrow.

He swirled the alcohol in his glass and said casually, “Ethan Smith, you should know that the emergence of such Medicinal Materials will definitely attract a large number of powerful people.”

“Once a conflict breaks out, casualties are inevitable, and even the Marquis may die.”

“Do you think our relationship is close enough for you to risk the lives of our Noble Family’s Marquis?” Guy Noble stared at Ethan as he spoke.

Ethan fell silent.

Although Guy Noble wasn’t straightforward, he wasn’t a fool either.

Ethan only had one month. If he couldn’t get ahold of the Medicinal Materials, he’d have no chance of defeating the Heaven Swallowing Python.

Guy Noble waved his hand, “Okay, enough about that. I believe my father has already made it clear to you.”

“As long as the Noble Family doesn’t take action, you at least have a chance to obtain the Medicinal Materials. Don’t be too greedy.”

Seeing this, Ethan could only let out a small sigh and say, “Alright.”

Ms. Hayward coldly glanced at the security guard and said, “Don’t cause trouble for yourself.”

The security guard tried to maintain his smile, “I apologize, but this is the rule of the island banquet. Non-members are not allowed in.”

“Seeking death!” Ms. Hayward was furious. She reached out with her withered, claw-like hand and grabbed the security guard’s head!

“Crack!”

With a crisp sound, the security guard’s neck was twisted and broken!

The security guard’s eyes widened in shock. He never imagined that Ms. Hayward could be so ruthless!

Ms. Hayward snorted coldly before striding into the island banquet.

Inside the island banquet, Ethan was drinking with Guy Noble, but his mind was preoccupied with how to ensure he could obtain the Medicinal Materials.

At that moment, several figures appeared in front of Ethan.

“Ethan Smith, you seem to have a lot of leisure time,” a gloomy voice whispered in Ethan’s ear.

Ethan frowned slightly, looked up, and saw Ms. Hayward standing before him.

And the several men in purple robes beside her had blocked his way.
