The Heavenly Guardian Book is a legendary text that records contracts.

As the man with the mustache mentioned, this contract cannot be violated, or else one’s soul would be in danger.

The man with the mustache placed the Heavenly Guardian Book in front of the two, his face adorned with a sycophantic smile.

“Ms. Hayward, I’m afraid that Ethan Smith may not keep his words, so I specifically prepared the Heavenly Guardian Book for you,” the man with the mustache said with a grin.

Despite his words, everyone knew that the man with the mustache was actually helping Ethan Smith.

If Ethan Smith really lost, he would face death, so there’s no need for signing any Heavenly Guardian Book.

Ms. Hayward’s face darkened slightly, and she fiercely glared at the man with the mustache, as if she wanted to swallow him whole.

“I don’t need to sign any Heavenly Guardian Book,” Ms. Hayward coldly huffed.

“I represent the Capital City Martial Arts Association, and I won’t go back on my word.”

Ethan Smith sneered, “The words of the Capital City Martial Arts Association have always been as insignificant as farts. If you don’t dare to sign, just say so.”

Ms. Hayward’s face grew colder, and she narrowed her eyes, “Ethan Smith, mind your tone.”

“Cut the crap. Dare or not?” Ethan Smith scoffed.

“It seems you’re not very confident in the beast you’ve raised. What, are you afraid I’ll kill it with just a slap?”

Before Ms. Hayward could respond, the young man named Broderick couldn’t hold back any longer.

He stepped forward and coldly said, “I’ll sign it! Who’s afraid of who!”

Seeing this, the man with the mustache quickly spoke, “Come, bite your finger and drip your blood onto the Heavenly Guardian Book.”

Broderick let out a light snort, and just as he was about to bite his finger, Ms. Hayward suddenly grabbed his wrist.

“Let me do it,” Ms. Hayward said coldly.

Ethan Smith sneered, “It doesn’t matter who does it; the result will be the same.”

Without further ado, Ms. Hayward walked up to the Heavenly Guardian Book and bit her finger.

Drops of blood flowed down her finger and fell onto the Heavenly Guardian Book.

The moment the blood fell, thick smoke rose from the Heavenly Guardian Book!

The smoke then transformed into strands of faint light, heading straight for Ms. Hayward’s brow!

“Buzz”

The faint light entered Ms. Hayward’s brow, and the bet was officially sealed.

“Your turn,” Ms. Hayward said with narrowed eyes.@@novelbin@@

Without speaking, Ethan Smith bit his finger and dripped his blood onto the Heavenly Guardian Book.

Once again, a flash of light passed, and the bet between the two took effect.

“One month later, see you at the Capital City Martial Arts Association,” the man with the mustache put away the Heavenly Guardian Book.

He looked at Ms. Hayward with a grin and then theatrically warned Ethan Smith.

“Ethan Smith, let me tell you, if this bet is not fulfilled, the agreement will never be lifted. Your soul will be signed with Satan for a lifetime, understand?” The man with the mustache stared straight into Ethan Smith’s eyes.

Although his words seemed to be directed at Ethan Smith, they were actually warning Ms. Hayward.

If something were to happen to Ethan Smith during this period, it would mean the bet couldn’t be completed as agreed, and it wouldn’t be lifted.

In this way, Ethan Smith gained a month of safety.

“I understand,” Ethan Smith said with a smile.

As soon as these words were uttered, someone in the audience couldn’t help but laugh.

After she left, Ethan Smith also walked down from the stage.

“Tsk tsk, Ethan Smith, you’ve got some real skills. That Broderick is apparently Ms. Hayward’s direct disciple. Even I might not be a hundred percent sure of winning,” Dominic Taylor approached and said with a light smile.

Ethan Smith glanced at Dominic Taylor and scoffed, “You really like putting on airs, don’t you? What does your confidence have to do with me? You really think highly of yourself.”

Dominic Taylor’s eyes narrowed slightly, and he coldly said, “Ethan Smith, you’ve already offended Ms. Hayward. Do you want to offend me as well?”

Ethan Smith pointed a finger at Dominic Taylor’s nose and said, “Dominic Taylor, one month later, I’ll slaughter you too. Don’t worry.”

Dominic Taylor laughed heartily, “Arrogant fool! I wanted to see for myself too, so why not let me experience it now!”

“If you want to fight, I’ll accompany you!” At this point, Frederick Cohen leaped to his feet and stood in front of Dominic Taylor.

Dominic Taylor coldly stared at Frederick Cohen and said, “Kid, you’re not dead yet. Well, I’ve been wanting to teach you a lesson.”

“Is that so? Then, come and try!” Frederick Cohen brimmed with energy, ready for a fight.

Ethan Smith pulled Frederick Cohen back and looked at Dominic Taylor, saying, “Dominic Taylor, don’t worry. I’ll satisfy you in a month.”

Dominic Taylor snorted lightly, “Fine, see you in a month.”

With these words, Dominic Taylor turned and walked away.
