The hound chants erupted and there were some wolf howls mixed in between as Max walked down the stage in pride.

Just before he walked out, he turned once to wave to his sister in law Naomi, to thank her for being here to support him today.

With this victory Max had solidified his dream of entering the round of 16, and hence secured his spot in the upcoming dungeon run!

Rudra had to leave Max’s academy in a hurry as he was summoned by none other than Augustus Won Knight the tier 8 patriarch of the Won Knight clan in an emergency family meeting.

The capital city was almost as big as Europe and housed over 220 million inhabitants and the total population of the planet being over 27 billion.

However, when Rudra sent his senses across the world he realised that despite the large population there were only two gods on the entire planet.

Rudra was escorted into a huge castle made of pure sapphires as his dear sister Patricia Won Knight greeted him at the palace gates.

The Won Knight Clan name was not inherited at birth, but rather Augustus Won Knight devised a system thousands of years ago, for choosing the next generation of Won Knight clansmen.

Each previous generation of Won Knight Clansmen, could take in one junior brother or sister and groom them personally.

Upon passing the tier 4 trial, if they fulfilled the hidden criterias then they were awarded the family name.

Patricia had named Rudra as her successor and Rudra had not yet passed the name onto anyone else.

This system meant that the won knight clan members were not related by blood, but still shared a close familiar bond.

Within the next 3 seconds, the two made a total of 80 moves which resulted in Rudra eventually winning.

” Checkmate “. Rudra said as Augustus Won Knight began clapping, amused at how Rudra had lured his bishop in only for it to be a decoy to take his queen.

” Cheeky “. Augustus said as he reset the table as he began pondering about the previous game and where he made a mistake.

” You called Patriarch? ” Patricia asked, her voice containing a trace of concern as not only had Augustus recalled Rudra on a forceful command, but also asked Patricia to prepare the troops for war.
