EVERGREEN HIGH SCHOOL

During lunch break, Clara came to sit near me in the cafeteria; so unusual but I didn’t mind. “So have you gotten your clothes for graduation already”, she asked and I shook my head. “How about we go to the mall together after school”, she suggested.” Okay I’ll just call my mum to inform her”, I said and we started eating.

UNKNOWN

“How did it go, were you able to convince her to join us for the after party”, a guy asked. “Yes,I was, I just faked a pity face and she fell for it, how foolish”, Clara said and laughed maniacally. “Why are you even doing this,I thought you love her”Clara asked sarcastically.

“Yes I love her but I just want to have a taste of her before that her dumb boyfriend does”, Paul said “and why are you helping me, I thought you are friends” he added and Clara scoffed.

“Yes we are friends, but people keep on choosing her over me, guys have always picked her over me and it drives me crazy so I just want her to feel dejected too, so she will know how it feels”, Clara said angrily and with so much hate.

“Interesting, if that’s the case then this collaboration will work, but whatever we are doing has to be discreet and don’t harm her I don’t want any problems”, Paul said. “Trust me, everything will go smoothly without any problem”, Clara assured.

“Hello Mom, I won’t be coming home after school, I want to go shopping with my friend Clara”,I said. “But you already went shopping last week”, my mum said. ” This one is different mum, it’s for our graduation”, I replied.” Okay, just come home straight after the shopping” she warned, “okay ma” I answered and ended the call.

The bell rang and I packed my books waiting for Clara. Not long she showed up. “Come on let’s go”, Clara said and jabbed my arm and we left the school premises.

MARA’S SHOPPING MALL

“Hey is this one okay” Clara asked me for the umpteenth and I said yes. She has being trying lots of dresses but she wasn’t but she hasn’t picked any while I haven’t found the dress I like.

I was still searching when I came across a silver dress, it’s a V- neck with a one side high slit starting from the knee down to my legs and a thin hand. I immediately picked it and I picked a black heels to go with it with a matching black mask and black hand gloves. The part is a masked one that’s why I bought a mask.

I also bought a silver necklace with a silver pendant in the shape of a cross and silver earrings too. I paid for it and waited for Clara and she finally chose a black long fitted gown revealing her back and a matching black mask. She paid and we left.

I got home feeling tired and laid down to sleep. In my sleep I found myself in a strange dark place and it was lonely. I walked down the hallway, I kept on walking straight until when I saw a door, out of curiosity I opened it and entered and then the door closed by itself.

I was about to turn back and open the door when I felt a pair of hands wrap it self around my neck and started strangling me. I put my hands on the person’s hand and tried to remove it from my neck but I couldn’t, the person was more powerful than I am.

I struggled to get away from the person’s grip but to no avail. I was loosing my breath and was getting weak. I suddenly woke up and was breathing fast, I was so scared, I thought I was going to die in my sleep.

I stood up and went to check the mirror and saw strangle marks on my neck and I gasped. ” Oh my God, it was real, someone wants to kill me, but who”, I thought because I haven’t really offended anybody. I went to the bathroom to wash it off the marks but it wasn’t coming off. I guess I have to use a concealer throughout the week.

IN THE WITCHES KINGDOM

“Ahhhh, I was this close”, Melaine said gritting her teeth. “I would have killed her, if she didn’t wake up. Why are human this stubborn, why won’t she die”. “I have to look for another way, if I can’t do it, someone else will”. I checked my crystal ball for the perfect person to execute my revenge.

I came across one beautiful young lady, she seems close to Lord Mate but she doesn’t look like someone that loves her friend. In other words, she hates Audriene because she always steals the spotlight. I decided to use her. After that I will just kill her. I thought and laughed.

ONE WEEK LATER

AT FUNHOUSE BAR

Loud music was playing and everyone was dancing. I just sat in one corner watching them. Soon, Liam came to sit near me and we kissed. When we disengaged from the long kiss he asked me what I wanted to drink juice because I have 0% tolerance for alcohol.

He left to get it. Immediately he left, Clara offered me a glass of wine, I rejected it at first but she insisted I drink it and I did. Seconds later, my eyes became blurry and the last thing I saw was Clara’s smiling face.
