“Hey, you look familiar”

Osiris gasped and wife his eyes.

“Does this mean she finally regained her memories”, he thought.

“You’re the guy that saved me from almost being raped by my boyfriend”

“Yes, oh my God, you finally remembered. I thought you will never regain your memories again. Do you remember my name”, he asked with tears in his eyes.

“Osiris”

“You remembered”, Osiris let the tears flow freely from his eyes

He took Kim’s hand and kissed her knuckles softly and looked into her eyes.

Kim was surprised by why Osiris was crying.

“Why are you crying”

“I thought you will never remember me again”, he said

“I don’t understand”

“After that incident of your ex boyfriend beating you up, you lost your recent memories including the one you had of me”, Osiris said.

Kim started tearing up.

“I can imagine how hard it must be for you . I’m sorry, forgive me” Kim was already crying.

Osiris drew Kim closer and kissed her hair.

“Don’t worry, it was not your fault”, he consoled her.

Series of memories started flashing in Kim’s head.

“Yes, it’s because of him”, Kim said.

“What does he have that I don’t have”, Osiris yelled and took his keys and left the mansion.

“Why are you doing this. why are you not talking to me anymore”, Kim questioned

“It’s better if we remain like this so that we won’t hurt each other”, Osiris replied

Kim remembered all these, she remembered how she hurt Osiris and how Bruno has another girlfriend.

She turned and looked at Osiris and started crying afresh.

“Come on, why are you crying again”, he asked.

“I hurt you, I took your love for granted. Stay away from me, I’m a bad person”, she cried trying to push Osiris away.

Osiris pulled her into a tight hug. Kim kept on pushing him away but Osiris was just too strong for her, so she just let him be.

“Don’t worry, how about we start all over again. Just you and me”, Osiris asked.

Kim stopped crying and looked at him

“Do you really mean it”, she asked with a doubt.

“Yes baby, I mean it”, Osiris said and she jumped on him and hugged him.

Their moment was disturbed by the doctor.

“Will you excuse us please, I want to run a few more tests on her to make sure she is okay” the doctor politely asked.

Osiris looked at Kim and nodded before leaving the ward.

“Okay Miss Kim, do you feel any pain in your head”, the doctor asked.

“Not at all”, Kim said.

“Are you feeling dizzy”, he asked again and Kim shook her head.

The doctor asked a few more questions before calling Osiris back.

“She’s good to go, come with me to sign the discharge papers”, the doctor said and left.

“Just give me a minute”, Osiris said to Kim and left with the doctor too.

Shortly after, Osiris came back smiling.

“Get dressed, we’re leaving this place”, Osiris dropped a few clothes for her to wear and smiled before turning to leave.

Osiris was waiting for Kim but she was taking more time than usual so he decided to check up on her.

He opened the door and what he saw next made him breathless.

Kim was wearing a trouser and a bra. It seemed like she was having problem hooking it.

“Oh hey Osiris, please can you help me”, she asked shyly.

Osiris was still lost staring at her that he didn’t even hear what Kim said.

“Osiris, are you there”, Kim snapped her fingers to bring Osiris back to earth.

Osiris shook his head.

“What were you saying”, he asked.

“Please help me with it”, Kim turned around and Osiris gradually took his hands and buckled the bra.

Kim turned and her b**bs hit Osiris making him to gulp hard.

“I’ll,,,,be waiting a,,,at the car”, Osiris stammered and left.

“What is wrong with him”, Kim thought and wore her shirt quickly and went to meet Osiris.

She met him leaning on his car with his legs crossed and he was making a phone call.

“Oh”, she gasped at the sight.

Osiris sighted Kim and ended the call. He walked towards her and stretched out his hand.

“My lady”, Osiris said and Kim blushed and took his hands.

Osiris opened the car door and closed it when she sat down.

He walked around the car to the driver’s seat and started the car and drove off.

“In a few days, you will be crowned the king of the vampires”, Audriene smiled.

Zamiel’s face changed to a worried one.

“What is it, don’t you want to be the king”, Audriene asked.

“What if I fail as a king. Can I rule like my father did”, Zamiel asked.

“Shhhh, it’s okay. Stop saying negative things. Don’t worry, you will be a better ruler than your father okay”, Audriene said firmly

“Do you think so”, Zamiel turned to Audriene.

“I know so”, she smiled and nodded.

Zamiel was about to press his lips on Audriene’s own but they heard a commotion going on in the palace.

“What is going on”, Audriene looked at Zamiel confused.

“Let’s see for ourselves”, Zamiel said.

They put on their royal robes and went downstairs.

“Caulder, what is it”, Zamiel asked.

Caulder looked down not knowing how to tell Zamiel.

“What is it, speak Caulder”, Zamiel said.

“Master Zamiel,,,,her high,,,ness,,the queen has been,,,,held ca,,,captive by Melaine”, Caulder said.

“What”, Zamiel roared and everyone became frightened including Audriene.

“Prepare the soldiers, we are going to Melaine’s kingdom tonight. Let us end this once and for all.”, Zamiel ordered at once.

“Yes Master Zamiel”, Caulder bowed.

“Do not speak of this to Viona”, Zamiel said and left leaving Audriene behind.

Audriene ran upstairs to catch up with Zamiel.

“Zamiel, please don’t go out by this time. It is already late”, Audriene pleaded.

“Snowflake just get out of my way and let me prepare”, Zamiel snapped.

“Please listen to me”, Audriene pleaded with tears in her eyes.

Zamiel’s eyes softened a bit and he looked at Audriene and cupped her cheeks.

“Snowflake, my mum is in danger, she has been captured and I want to rescue her. Please understand me”, Zamiel said softly.

Audriene nodded and allowed Zamiel to prepare.

Zamiel finished preparing and was about leaving but he turned back and walked to where Audriene was standing.

“I’ll be back, I promise”, he said and kissed her lips softly yet passionately.

He pulled away from the kiss and Audriene hugged him like her life depended on it.

“Be safe”, Audriene muttered. The tears she has been holding back started falling freely.

Zamiel disengaged from the hug and cleaned her tears.

“Stop crying snowflake, be strong for me”, Zamiel said and she nodded.

“I love you”, he said.

“I love you too”, she said sniffling.

Zamiel kissed her hair and turned to leave with the rest of the vampire soldiers.

Audriene watched the soldiers leave until they were out of sight.

She sat on the floor and started crying again.

“My queen, Zamiel and his men are on their way here”, one of the witches informed.

Melaine turned her chair around and smirked.

“The moment I’ve been waiting for has finally come. Don’t attack them, just let them be”, Melaine said.

“Yes my queen”, the witch said and left.

Melaine stood up and walked to where Zamiel’s mother was tied and bent down.

“Your son loves you so much, he’s on his way here. You will watch him die in your presence so you will know how it feels”, Melaine said angrily and left.

Zamiel’s mother started crying.

“Zamiel please be safe. I don’t want anything to happen to you”, She prayed.

“Master Zamiel, don’t you notice anything”, Caulder said.

“What’s that”, Zamiel replied.

“Melaine normally sends her witches to attack us anytime we cross the border but I don’t see any of her witches this time”, Caulder said.

“That’s strange. I wonder what that sick witch is up to this time”, Zamiel said.

“Let us be prepared for any sudden attack. I don’t trust that witch at all”, Zamiel ordered and Caulder nodded.

They got to the gate of Melaine’s kingdom and the gate opened.

Caulder drove in and the gate closed.

Zamiel got down from the car and walked to the palace without waiting for anyone.

“Master wait”, Caulder shouted but Zamiel didn’t listen.

“Where is my mother”, Zamiel yelled.

Zamiel’s mother gasped when she heard her son’s voice.

“Calm down there, Zamiel. Don’t you think we need to talk”, Melaine said turning her chair slowly to see Zamiel.

“The only thing we’re going to be talking about is my mother. Now bring her to me or else”, Zamiel was interrupted by Melaine.

“Or else what”, Melaine snapped.
