I walked out of the torture room when the maids fainted and went to do background check on the remaining servants in the house.

As far as Melaine has infiltrated the palace, my princess is not safe.

After the thorough checking, I found out some others too were working for Melaine. There were even witches working in the palace, like how did this happen.

I went to the room to wash the blood away from my body before Audriene wakes up. She wouldn’t want to see me looking like this.

I already spoke to my mother about getting a trainer for Audriene so that she will be able to protect herself in the future.

I finished cleaning up and came out but Audriene was still sleeping so I left the palace to go see my old-time friends.

**Noriel’s mansion**

“When will you find your mate Noriel”, Jamiel said

“I don’t pray for her to show up soon. I’m enjoying my life like this”, Noriel said

“You need help”, Jamiel shook his head

“So Zamiel, how is your human mate. Heard she has a really nice figure”, Noriel smirked.

Zamiel scoffed. “If I were you, I will stop saying such nasty things about my mate”

“I’m so scared”, Noriel mocked and Zamiel rolled his eyes.

” Mehn, that Melaine is bent on destroying me. She even tried to kill my mate”,

“Are you for real man, you mean that ugly witch is still after you since all these years”, Jamiel asked

Zamiel nodded his head

” This is serious. You should have killed her a long time ago”, Noriel said.

“Let’s stop talking about sad things and let’s enjoy”, Noriel teleported and appeared with bottles of wine and cups.

“Must you drink all the time”

“Just stop being a saddist and join in the merriment. Come on one glass won’t hurt”, Noriel said

“One glass that will turn to one bottle”, I scoffed and Noriel chuckled.

Later, Noriel Jamiel and Zamiel were all drunk but Zamiel was still able to control himself unlike Noriel and Jamiel

Zamiel checked the time and gasped.

It’s was already 9 pm, his princess should be awake by now and she would be dear for him.

“Hey, take care of those two okay”, I said to one of the maids and left Noriel’s mansion.

I got to the palace to meet a worried young lady waiting at the veranda.

Immediately she saw me, she rushed to hug me like I was missing before.

“Where have you been. I woke but I could not find you anywhere”, Audriene asked worriedly and I placed my hands on her waist.

“Sorry, I went to a friend’s house since you were sleeping”, I said

“You should have at least found a way to tell me, you don’t know how worried,,,,”, Zamiel cut her off with a kiss.

“I’m sorry for making you worried, it will not happen again”, I said breaking the kiss and hugged her.

“Have you eaten”, I pulled away from the hug and she shook her head.

“You should go shower, you reek of alcohol”, she said wrinkling her nose.

I went and did that immediately and I wanted to dry my body but I forgot to bring my towel. I forgot it in the room.

Since no one was in the room, I decided to go and get it only for me to hear someone scream.

I turned and saw that it was Audriene. She covered her eyes immediately and I wondered why.

I looked down and saw that I was still naked but I just shrugged and tied my towel.

I walked towards her and she was moving back, closing her eyes.

“Don’t worry snowflake, I have tied my towel” I tried removing her hands

“Are you sure”, she asked and I removed her hands.

She opened her eyes slowly and saw that I truly tied my towel and she sighed in relief.

“Why didn’t you do that in the bathroom uh, Mr shameless”, she pouted.

“How am I shameless, did I ask you to look at it”, I teased.

“I did not look at it, I just,,,,”, she stopped when she had nothing to say.

“You just what”, I asked

“Nothing, I just didn’t see anything”, she said and looked somewhere else.

“What are you looking at”, I asked but got no response.

I traced her eyes to my towel and I chuckled.

“Do you want to see it again”, I teased

“What,,, see what. Oh my God, why are you such a pervert”, She hit my chest

“Don’t worry, it belongs to you”, I smiled and she widened her eyes.

“Mr Zamiel Rodriguez, can you stop being shameless”, she yelled.

“Im just saying the truth”, I shrugged and she rolled her eyes

It’s been three weeks now since Kim and Osiris spoke to each other. Kim has been bothered on how to tell Bruno how she feels about him

She put on a red shirt and a blue jean trousers with light makeup.

Osiris was watching Kim leave the compound with sad tears in his eyes.

He knows what Kim is going out for and it is paining him.

“Good luck”, he muttered.

Kim drove out of the compound feeling nervous on how Bruno is going to react.

She reached the gate of his mansion and stepped out of the car

She was about to move but she sighted a familiar figure with a lady.

She decided to move closer and she saw that it was none other than Bruno. He was with a girl and they were all kissing and cuddling.

She ran back to her car in tears and cried for sometime before driving home.

She got home late because she kept on stopping and crying before she will continue driving.

Osiris on the other hand was waiting for Kim to come back. It’s already late and she’s not back yet.

Or is she planning on sleeping in his house. The thought of that made Osiris to almost throw up.

Osiris thoughts were interrupted when he heard a car horn. He knew that was Kim’s car.

His face brightened up a bit

Kim entered the house looking disheveled Her eyes were red and her hair was tattered.

Osiris saw her and gasped.

He immediately went downstairs without thinking twice.

He met Kim crying on the sofa and he went to sit near her.

Kim noticed this and raised her head up

“Are you here to make jest of me, Go ahead”, Kim said crying

Instead of replying her, Osiris embraced her and comforted her.

Kim was surprised with the way Osiris acted. He embraced her even when she pushed him away.

“I’m sorry”, she said and that made Osiris confused.

“Sorry for what”, he asked

“I’m sorry for pushing you away, for hurting you because of my selfishness. I’m sorry”, Kim apologized sincerely.

“Don’t worry, it’s okay, I’ve forgiven you”, he said softly.

“Come and eat, I’m sure you must be very hungry”, he suggested and Kim smiled a little.

It has been long since they ate together.

After the dinner, Osiris went to his room while Kim went to watch TV.

She was changing the channels until she saw one with the headline, “Chicago central prisoners escapes”.

Kim gasped and remembered that is the prison James was sentenced to and she became scared again.

She started sweating and crying because she knew he was going to come for her.

Rain started falling and the sounds of thunder and lightening could be heard.

Kim could no longer watch the TV again because of what she just saw.

She stood up and turned for the stairs but what she saw frightened her terribly.

She saw James at her back putting on a smirk.

“How did he get here”, she thought.

“Long time Kim. Did you miss me”, James said.
