MATED TO A VAMPIRE - EPISODE 18

Osiris drove out of the mansion and went to a bar to drink out his sorrows after being rejected by Kim earlier.

“Can i have a bottle of your best wine”, Osiris shouted after taking about 5 bottles of beer and he is drunk yet he is still taking more.

Meanwhile, while all this was going on, someone sitting in the corner of the bar was just watching all that was happeneing. The man was just watching Osiris drinking, when it became too much, he decided to go and stop Osiris.

The man walked up to Osiris and collected the bottle of wine he was drinking and Osiris became angry immediately.

“Hey, why did you do that. If you know what is good for you, you better give me back my drink”, Osiris said drunkenly.

The man did not answer Osiris instead, he turned to the bartender and cautioned him. “Why are you still giving him more drinks even when he is totally drunk, do you want him to pass out”, The man said to the bartender in a serious manner and dropped the money for the drinks Osiris ordered.

“I’m very sorry sir, it will never happen again”, the bartender apologized feeling remorseful.

“It better don’t”, the man said and took Osiris out of the bar, even though it was not easy. Osiris kept on requesting for his drink but the man wasn’t listening to him. He dragged Osiris to his car and took him to his mini house since Osiris was in no condition to drive himself home. s

OSIRIS’S MANSION

Kim kept on pacing back and forth while checking the time. It was already 11 pm and Osiris is still not back.Kim knew she was hard on him, but she did not have another option. She only has one person in her heart and that is Bruno, Audriene’s brother; even though he does not notice her, she does not care. She plans on waiting till he notices her.

“Osiris, where are you, you are making me worried please pick your phone”, kim said in a worried maner.

She has being trying to call him since but he is not picking. She wondered if he is doing okay. Since Osiris has not returned, she decided not to eat until she sees him. Even when the maids begged her to eat, she still refused.

She kept on waiting but he did not show up. Kim started drifting into sleep unknowingly.

As she was sleeping, she saw herself being chased by James and she ran for her life because he wanted to rape her.

She ran as fast as she could until she fell down and James caught up with her and tore her clothes ready to rape her but a guy saved her. Shee tried to see the guy’s face but it was blurry.

Kim kept on thinking about who the guy may be but she couldn’t. She started sweating and was feeling severe headache because she was thinking.

One of the maids tapped her and she jerked up from her sleep.

“Mistress, are you okay”, the maid asked and I nodded and sent her away.

“Who was that guy”, Kim wondered and continued waiting for Osiris.

SOMEWHERE IN THE PRISON

“Hey, mister, you have been talking to yourself and laughing for a while”, one of the roommates said and the rest laughed except James.

“Dude, hope you are not planning on escaping because it’s not possible”, they mocked James.

While all these were going on, James was secretly smirking because he has been making arrangements for him to escape the prison and so far everything is going on well.

“Just a little longer Kim, just wait for me. I am coming back for you”, James said dangerously but was still smirking.

REDMAINE’S MANSION

It’s been days since Audriene left the mansion without letting anyone know where she was going to.

Her mum doesn’t seem like she has gotten over it. She keeps on crying day and night hoping for her to return.

“When last did you see her before she went missing”, a policeman asked while writing down most of the things she was saying.

“When I grounded her, I did not see her for the whole night and the next day, I was hoping she would come downstairs but she never did. So I decided to send for her..”, Mrs Redmaine paused and started crying again.

“It’s okay ma’am. She will come back. Can you please finish your statement”, the policeman requested patiently.

“I found out she was missing, I decided to search for her but I couldn’t see her anywhere. While I was searching her room, I came across a note on her bedside table and read it. Only to find out she’s gone forever”, Mrs Redmaine said crying non stop.

“Okay, I think that will be all for now. Can I please have the note she left behind”, the man asked.

Mrs Redmaine brought out the letter and gave the cops.

“Bye ma’am”, they said and left the mansion.

“Audriene please come back to me, I really miss you”, Mrs Redmaine wept.

ZAMIEL’S MANSION

Audriene has healed fully and she and Zamiel have become really close. Sometimes, they don’t talk to each other, they stare at themselves without getting tired.

“Do you feel like going home”, Zamiel suddenly asked out of the blue.

“I… I really don’t know. I mean..”, Audriene was interrupted.

“Don’t worry, you don’t have to answer it”, Zamiel said softly.

“Thanks for everything you have done for me. I am really grateful”, Audriene said sincerely.

“It’s okay, anything for you rienne”, Zamiel smiled.

Audriene smiled back at him and they started smiling at each other foolishly.

Their staring contest was interrupted by Viona.

“Will you two get yourself together, and go to the dining room. Dinner is ready”, Viona said and left.

Audriene and Zamiel spared each other one more glance and headed for the dining room.

The dinner was a fun one. Viona kept on cracking jokes and Audriene was laughing heartily.

Zamiel was lost staring at Audriene’s smiling face. She looked beautiful as she was laughing. “She looks like an angel sent from heaven”, Zamiel thought.

“Zamiel, you have been staring at me for a while, is there something on my face”, Audriene asked checking her face.

“No.. no, there’s nothing on your face”, Zamiel said nervously and looked away immediately.

OSIRIS’S MANSION

It’s been two days since Osiris came back home but he hasn’t spoken a word to Kim since and it is making Kim uncomfortable.

Anytime he sees her, he usually looks away immediately like she is a ghost or something.

They no longer eat together, watch TV together. Infact things are no longer like before.

And now Osiris was coming down the stairs while Kim was going up the stairs. She wanted to speak to him but he looked away and pretended like she never existed as usual.

“Did I make a mistake by telling him my mind”, Kim asked herself. “Why is he hurting me like this and pretending like I don’t exist”, Kim said feeling hurt.

Osiris no longer sleeps in the mansion with her. He sneaks out of the mansion and comes back early in the morning from “God knows where”.

Meanwhile, Osiris is in the guest quarters crying. No one how difficult it is for him. Seeing the person you love everyday and she doesn’t recognize you not to even talk of loving you back.

It’s not as if he intentionally wants to snub her but he had no other option. The more he talks to her, the more he hurts himself. So it’s better he just sees her face and not speak to her.

Night fell again and like other nights, Kim stayed up and waited for Osiris to come back. She didn’t even touch her food at all.

When the time was 12:00 in the midnight and Kim could no longer wait for Osiris so she started dozing off.

Not long, Osiris entered and met Kim sleeping on the couch.

A tear drop fell from Osiris’s eyes and he crouched down so that he could reach Kim’s face.

He held her cheeks gently and caressed them.

“I’m sorry”, he muttered and left. Unknown to him, Kim heard what he said and immediately Osiris left she got up and made sure Osiris was completely out of sight before she started crying again.

“Why are you doing this. I wish things can just go back to the way they were before all these things happened”, Kim said crying.

ZAMIEL’S MANSION

Audriene and Zamiel are in the garden, playing together and they were having so much fun.

Audriene keeps on winning and Zamiel is frustrated.

“And I won again”, Audriene said and laughed at Zamiel who clearly wasn’t enjoying the game.

“Can we please play another game”, Zamiel requested but Audriene refused.

“Next round”, Audriene said and Zamiel grunted under his breath.

They were about to go for another round of Monopoly but was interrupted by Caulder’s presence.

“Caulder, what is it”, Zamiel asked angrily.

“Boss, there is trouble, we need to head back to the kingdom. The kingdom is in danger”, Caulder said.

“What”, Zamiel said.
