The frosty snowflakes landed on her unscrupulously following the cold breeze. She covered her face and cried while shuddering. She did not know why she was crying. Sensing his change in emotions, Sylvia whispered on the other end of the phone, “I’ll hang up now. You can do your stuff.” Then, she hung up.

Odell’s expression darkened, and he walked toward the parking lot.
