Cecelia decided not to return to the Bluebell Mansion and instead contacted Everest Theodore and Jayden Bowman through the
phone to explain the situation and asked them to take care of the children.
When she informed Jayden that she and Remington were going to Bemanko overnight, he expressed some concern, “Cece, do
you want me to accompany you?”

“No need! I’ll be back as soon as things are settled! Please take care of the kids for me!”
Around 8 o’clock in the evening, Cecelia and Remington met up. Remington had arranged for a private helicopter, and they flew
overnight to Phoenix City in Bemanko.
They arrived in Bemanko close to midnight, and it was quite late, so Remington booked them a hotel to rest for the night.
Cecelia asked, “You booked only one suite?”
“That’s right. I was in a hurry, and it’s peak tourist season in this city, so it was difficult to book more.”
Remington put down his luggage, which contained things he had prepared for her.
Seeing the way Remington had “already directed everything,” Cecelia became a bit angry, “Did we really need to come here? Is
this all just a trick? You didn’t want me to go back and meet Jayden, so you came up with this excuse and tricked me into flying
here, didn’t you?”
“You’re 50% right.”

He did arrange this trip because he believed finding her brother might not be as smooth as they expected, and also, he didn’t
want. her to go back and be with Jayden Bowman.
He hoped that by the time they returned, Jayden Bowman would already be gone!
Remington held Cecelia’s shoulder and said, “It’s true, I don’t want you to be with him! Moreover, I think it’s better for you to see
your brother in person.”
“Tell me the truth, how is my brother doing?”

They had already arrived in Phoenix City, and this was where her brother had lived!

him. “I’ll sleep on the bed tonight, and you on the floor!”
“Alright! I’ll go take a shower. Do you want to join me?”

An impulse to kick him came to Cecelia.
Remington smirked and went into the bathroom.
After he had showered and came out, he had only a bath towel. wrapped around his waist.
While removing her makeup, she caught a glimpse of him and suggested, “There’s a bathrobe in the wardrobe, please put it on!”
“A handsome man after a shower… Don’t you want to have a look? It’s free of charge, don’t you miss the chance! No need to be
shy!” “What a p erv!”
Cecelia was annoyed and somewhat amused, wondering why this guy couldn’t be more serious.
Remington grinned, fetched a bathrobe from the wardrobe in slow motions, and put it on in front of her, then stripped off the
towel underneath it.
Cecelia turned her eyes away and shrugged her shoulders. Why did he have to show off like that in front of her?

Seeing her passing by him and sitting on the bed, Remington’s eyes seemed to be stuck on her, watching her intently.

Remington couldn’t sleep and wanted to talk to her.

“Shut your mouth, I’m tired!”
Cecelia lay down and turned away from him, closing her eyes.
Remington didn’t want to disturb her, so he turned over as well. He gazed at the charming figure in front of him, finding her as
pretty as sleeping beauty in a painting.
His dream finally came true to sleep in the same room with her after Clearriver Villa, where they slept in’ separate rooms.
This feeling was incredible!
He hoped one day he could share the same bed with her!

Without turning around, Cecelia could feel the intense gaze behind her. She had no choice but to reach out to turn off the
bedside lamp. The room plunged into darkness. After a while, they both fell asleep.
Just before dawn, Cecelia felt the gentle kisses of the man
showering her. In his tender assault, she went from being passive to taking the initiative.
At a critical moment, she exclaimed, “Remington!”
Remington reached out and turned on the bedside lamp, looking at the woman on the bed. “What’s wrong, Cece?”
Cecelia was taken aback; she had just realized that she had been dreaming.
She dreamt of herself with Remington… They almost….

“Did you have a nightmare? What was it about?” Remington asked curiously, as if he wanted to dive into her mind and see it
himself.
She even called his name!

Cecelia quickly got up to wash her face, noticing her cheeks were blushing when having a look at herself in the mirror.
It embarrassed her even more thinking about the dream!
Could it be that deep down in her subconscious, she wanted to sleep with him?

Cecelia splashed cold water on her face, trying to drive the dream. out of her mind.
After they both got ready, they had breakfast at the hotel. Then Remington took her to a placé.
It was a grey and white European-style building, and the landlord came to open the door for them. Remington said, “Let’s go in
and take a look!”
“Is this where Kevin lives?”
Cecelia was very excited; she didn’t know how Kevin would look after 18 years.
