left. Later, I heard about her leaving the country and even checked her flight information to confirm it,” Samuel explained
anxiously.
“If that’s the case, then why was my aunt found in the abandoned building? Would Carlos dare to do such a thing without your
permission?” questioned Remington.
Suddenly, Samuel turned to Renee and without hesitation, slapped her across the face.
“It’s all your fault! Did you ask Carlos to do that? What nasty things. did you still do with Carlos? Tell me honestly!”
Renee’s mouth bled after the strike, but she laughed out loud, “I won’t tell you even if you kill me. If you have the guts, go ahead
and put me to death!”
Remington looked at these people in front of him with cold eyes and would like to see how long they could keep up the act.
Renee started to go crazy, and Remington instructed the police to take Carlos and Renee away first.
“Captain Shawn, please take them back for interrogation!”

After Samuel finished speaking, he walked out quickly. Remington took a deep breath and followed him.

“What secrets could I possibly have? Did your aunt tell you about it?” Samuel’s tone was calm and steady. “You can’t believe
Maryam.”
Remington grabbed Samuel by the collar, staring at him with hatred. “Tell me! I’m giving you a chance. Did my mother just go
missing or did you kill her?”
“Remington, calm down!” Samuel wanted to persuade him to calm down, but Remington swung his fist at Samuel’s face.
Samuel took a heavy blow to the face, causing him to stag ger backward and collide with the table, knocking everything off it.
Remington stared with crimson eyes and said bitterly, “Not long after my mother disappeared, you went against the wishes of our
family to marry Renee. Even if Renee is scheming, how could she and Carlos have been causing trouble right under your nose
for so many years? So, you must have allowed their misdeeds and covered them up. You are the mastermind behind all the
plots.”
“Do you suspect that I instructed them to hurt you secretly? You are my son. How could I do such a thing?” Samuel desperately
tried to explain.
