As 4 pm rolled by, Erin had successfully registered for her original phone number at a telecommunications company in Fleuverton City. She also bought a new phone.

Chandler had flown back two hours ago. This time, he flew alone in first class without even bringing Kyle so as not to be discovered by Quentin’s men. When he left, Erin couldn’t see him off. Both of them felt reluctant to part, but Chandler promised to find time to see her

again.

The two of them had been cuddling and lazing around for several hours in the morning. Even breakfast and lunch were brought in by the hotel staff. Chandler informed Erin in advance about Alana joining the film crew. It turned out he was the man who had supposedly invested two hundred million dollars to support his girlfriend!

His purpose was actually very simple, and that was to make Quentin gradually have a worse impression of Alana. Once Alana’s image was damaged, it was very likely that Quentin would replace her with someone else.

Erin eagerly awaited Chandler’s return to Fleuverton City to visit her. She was in good spirits with the nourishment of love that made her look like she was basking in the gentle spring breeze all the time. She constantly recalled the words Chandler had said to her.

He asked, “If Roman marries Alana, do you think they’ll be a good match in terms of their status?”

At that time, Erin didn’t hesitate to answer, “Of course, they’ll be a good match! The famous actor and the distinguished lady–how could they not be a good match?”

Chandler gave her a mysterious smile and asked in return. “Then what if you become a famous actress yoursell?”

Erin didn’t know how to answer that question at that time. Her usual way of thinking was that it was impossible for her to become a

famous actress.

Chandler’s words kept repeating themselves in her mind. “Erin, I have never truly wanted to obtain love for myself because I thought it was worthless. But since I met you, I started to desire it. For the first time, I really wanted it. But I need you to walk this path with me. My father looks down on your status, so you might as well upgrade yourself completely. I will help you along the way!”

His words made Erin understand that he wanted her to become an acclaimed actress so that she could match his status. There was a faint bitterness in her heart. She understood that someone with Chandler’s status would definitely not marry an average and ordinary

woman.

Even if Chandler married her for love, both Quentin and the entire Frost family would oppose it and come down hard on them. After all, they

needed someone who could bring them equal benefits.

the president of the Frost Group proved his extraordinary excellence. The thought of the Frost Group bearing the future and destiny of millions of employees worldwide on its shoulders ignited a strong sense of determination in Erin’s heart! She couldn’t become a burden to

Chandler!

There was still one year left for Quentin’s term as chairman. After one year, he would completely delegate his power. Once his power was delegated, Chandler would become the sole person to call the shots in the Frost family.

In order to let Chandler focus on these important matters, Erin was filled with a fighting spirit. She had lost both love and marriage before. Now that a new love had come into her life, she had to strive and fight for It

In order to be worthy of Chandler in the future. Erin thought and pondered for a whole hour after returning to the film crew. She held the script in her hand and developed a strong interest in the role of the fourth female lead from reading the script.

Just as she returned to the set at 5 pm that day, she received some news. The original actress scheduled to join the crew for filming next Tuesday got involved in a car accident abroad. At 7 pm, Roman and Ken returned to the dressing room after having the boxed meals arranged by the crew. When Roman saw that Erin was already in the dressing room, he made an excuse for Ken to go back to the hotel and fetch something for him.

Roman’s makeup artist had been called to attend a meeting by the costume designer to discuss the makeup and costume combinations

for the upcoming scenes. Now, only Erin and Roman were left in the dressing room.

After greeting Erin briefly, Roman drank some water. By then, Erin had already stood up from the sofa. She looked at Roman with a look. that indicated she had something to say.

Roman, dressed in a black robe with golden motives, had only a white crescent moon hairpin in his hair. There was a faint smile on his handsome and resolute face. He put down his water glass and asked, “Is there something you need?”

Respectfully, Erin stood in front of him. She was wearing a green, lantern–sleeve chiffon blouse on her upper body and a pair of ripped jeans cropped at the ankles. On her feet were a pair of green sheepskin high heels, and her flawless skin glowed like the moonlight.

Holding the script in her hand nervously, she took a deep breath and said, “Roman, I would like to ask you for a favor.”

“What favor?”

“I know my job is to be your assistant, but now I have nothing to do every day except memorize lines from the script. So, I have a request-

can I take part in acting?”

There was a hint of uneasiness in her eyes, but the sheer hope in them outshone her negative emotions. Erin’s large eyes were very

expressive. The slight upward curve at the corner of her eyes showed a natural charm that could make people’s hearts flutter, especially

men. Just like Roman at that moment, he quickly withdrew that deep gaze that he rarely revealed to others.

He lowered his gaze for a moment and said. “Actually, the reason I had you memorize lines was because I hoped you could get involved in acting someday. Since the day I interviewed you, I have had expectations for you. However, I didn’t expect you to come to me about this

so soon.”

Then, he looked up at her. “I guess your decision is related to Chandler, right?”

Erin nodded cautiously. “Yes!”

Roman made a decision right there and then. “Alright! I will help you. I will mention your name to the director. However, because you haven’t studied acting and have no experience in it, it’s highly likely that you won’t be able to play the leading role right from the start.”

She chuckled. “Roman, you think too highly of me! How could I play the leading role right away? I would already be satisfied if I could play the fourth female lead!”

Roman smiled and said. “In the film industry, there have been precedents of amateurs playing the leading role right from the start. You shouldn’t underestimate yourself. But let me make it clear upfront, I can introduce you to the director, but whether you will be chosen would depend on your own abilities. The most basic requirement is that you must go for an audition. Do you have an idea what kind of role you’d like to play?”

Erin raised the film script in her hand and exclaimed with excitement. “Yes! I want to audition for the role of the fourth female lead in the

movie ‘Fox‘!”
