I can’t believe Emmanuel’s wife is begging him to go back not long after.

Besides, the way Mackenzie summoned Emmanuel back home is also pretty

bone-chilling, I’d say. Jack had always thought that Mackenzie was just an

ordinary woman who happened to be beautiful and rich, but after reading

the message, he realized he had been wrong all the while. She must be

someone influential for making Yeringham’s press send that kind of

message; this isn’t just about money, but also connections!

Meanwhile, Jaxton was as surprised as Jack after reading the message.

Although he had long known Mackenzie was from the rich and powerful

Quillen family, he didn’t think she would go so far just to reconcile with

Emmanuel. After all, Mackenzie’s action of using the press to send out a

personal message could be followed by serious consequences that might

put the Quillen family in trouble. Therefore, he couldn’t help but wonder why

she would do that. Looks like she’s pretty determined!

“Do you see that, Mom? Mackenzie isn’t going to divorce Emmanuel!”

Roselynn shared the news with Alessandra in excitement.

“Yeah, I’m aware of that, but I wonder where Emmanuel is right now!”

Alessandra was relieved when she heard the news. Turns out that Mackenzie

has been searching for Emmanuel too. That’s good! What’s left now is to find

Emmanuel, and everything should come to an end.

“Yeah, let’s figure out a way to look for Emmanuel!” Roselynn couldn’t wait to

find her own brother, but soon, she caught a glimpse of Jaxton still standing

there from the corner of her eyes. “Why are you still standing here? Beat it!”

Jaxton’s face was written with an awkward expression. After all, he didn’t think

the situation would take such an unexpected and dramatic turn. It turned out

that it wasn’t Mackenzie who wanted to divorce Emmanuel. Instead, it was

Emmanuel who hadn’t responded to Mackenzie at all. “My bad, Roselynn. As

your husband, I’ll do my best to get your brother back.”

Did you forget that you were trying to cut ties with me moments ago? But

now, you’re calling Emmanuel as if he’s your actual brother. “No need for

that!” Roselynn knew what the man was up to. Although he was her legal

husband, she would not protect him.

Jaxton was awkward, but he hid his feelings well. “I’ll get in touch with you

once you feel better, Roselynn. Stay in touch!” He finished his words and left

the Lowe family.

Roselynn couldn’t accept the fact that Jaxton acted as though he forgot

everything he just did like nothing happened, feeling disappointed with him.

You should be grateful that Emmanuel isn’t here now, or I swear I’ll make you

regret it!

“For now, how would you like us to find Emmanuel, Roselynn? Just tell us what

to do. We’ll back you up!” Benny showed enthusiasm by volunteering to help

look for Emmanuel despite gloating about the man’s situation earlier.

“That’s right, Roselynn. Just tell me what I can do! I know some of the places

that Emmanuel used to frequent. I’ll look for him!” Jack tried to flatter

Roselynn by offering a helping hand, knowing how powerful and influential

Mackenzie was. Because of Mackenzie’s decision to remarry Emmanuel, he

reckoned that he needed to win his cousin’s favor. After all, the Lowe family

was just a modest family that couldn’t even come close to Mackenzie alone

in terms of wealth and influence.

In the meantime, Roselynn felt angry when she saw the way they reacted.

Thus, she sarcastically mocked them and asked, “Didn’t you just call my

brother a fool? Why are you so worried about him now?”

“Well…” Jack wanted to call Emmanuel ́a fool, yet he was unable to refute how

lucky he was to have someone like Mackenzie as his wife.

“Alright, Roselynn. Let’s not waste time quarreling here. We need to act now!”

Alessandra quickly stepped in to defuse the situation as she persuaded all

the Lowe family members to join the search for Emmanuel.

Nevertheless, their efforts were soon met with a huge setback; even

Mackenzie could not find Emmanuel. Even after visiting every place that

Emmanuel had been to or could possibly be, no one had found him. It

seemed like he had just disappeared from the surface of the planet.

However, little did they know that all information about the members of the

Wolf Warrior Unit had been heavily encrypted by national security. Therefore,

since Emmanuel decided to return to the Northern Region, his whereabouts

would be concealed and kept a secret, leaving no trail for anyone to find him.
