He insisted on standing up.

She stumbled forward, walking alone step by step toward a higher place.

Her figure was thin, and her shadow cast by the pale moonlight was like a

flickering candle flame. It made Emmanuel’s heart ache.

“Didn’t expect this, did you? It’s just me here. There’s no Mackenzie and no

Immanuel. “They have already left!”

Claudette smirked triumphantly. “I covered their escape. I’m willing to do

anything for him. There’s no one here , so if you have the guts, kill me! Prove

that you’re a failure!”

She guessed right again!

After her words , the area above the hillside soon lit up with spotlights.

Under the lights, Magnus appeared expressionless in front of Claudette’s

eyes.

Behind him was a man wearing a black leather jacket with a strong chest. I have

had a camouflage shirt on, and he was also wearing a pair of peculiar

glasses with a hint of wickedness at the corners of his mouth!

His name was Casper. He was once the number one explosives expert in the

Northern Region, and also extremely skilled in sniping. In fact, he was a rare

genius!

“Where is Emmanuel hiding?”

Magnus didn’t believe Claudette’s words at all. His gaze was still searching in

the dark.

Since he had revealed himself, he must kill his love rival!

He was the person who understood Claudette the most and also the person

Claudette understood the most. His proud ego couldn’t accept another

failure!

“I already told you; “he’s gone!”

Claudette intentionally curved her lips in contempt. “Magnus, you are a

failure . You are far inferior to Emmanuel! Unless you kill me now, everyone will

eventually know that you lost Emmanuel. You failed miserably on both the

battlefield and in love! You hired a martial arts master to challenge him

openly, as well as a professional sniper to ambush him in the dark, but you

couldn’t even hurt him in the slightest. You’re a complete loser!”

Her words were like sharp knives, piercing Magnus’ heart.

Claudette aimed to disturb Magnus’ state of mind, distract his attention, and

create an opportunity for Emmanuel to escape.

“No, he didn’t leave!”

Magnus’ face turned dark, but he recovered quickly and confidently said,

“Claudette, have you forgotten that I know you better than anyone? If

Emmanuel had really left, you wouldn’t be standing here talking to me alone.”

Claudette’s smile gradually disappeared, and she sighed helplessly. Although

she didn’t want to admit it , this man in front of her indeed understood her

very well!

“Emmanuel, come out! Otherwise, I will kill her!”
