It’s all this idiot’s fault!

Seeing her silence, Emmanuel continued, “Ms. Quillen, you made it clear the

first day we married that you wouldn’t interfere with my relationships with

other women. Why are you contradicting yourself now? Also, my relationship

with Ms. Lenoir is perfectly normal. We didn’t cross any boundaries because I

know I’m your legal husband. I would never do anything to betray you.”

He spoke with great sincerity. If it were Claudette, perhaps she wouldn’t have

this confidence, but Emmanuel definitely did. He truly had no feelings for

Claudette despite finding her a great woman.

“Are you saying that I’m making a fuss and whining out of nothing?”

Mackenzie was a high and mighty woman, so no one dared contradict her
