Ryder had always been bad with his words, so he could never scold anyone

like Abellyn did. Instead, he kept silent and swatted her bottom.

Even though Ryder was worried he could hurt her and bring shame to the

family, he still hit her with all his might, trying to vent all his anger.

Smack!

“Ahh!”

“Ahh!”

Abellyn cried out in pain each time he hit her. “I dare you to kill me now,

Ryder! Otherwise, don’t even think about sleeping from now on. I’ll make sure

to stab you to death once you’re asleep, you worthless man! You’re just a

pauper who coveted my beauty!”

The more she scolded, the more furious Ryder became.

He didn’t know how to retort to her words and only knew how to fight back

with his hands. The man kept on hitting her on her butt and it had swollen up.

She wants to kill me, doesn’t she? I’ll just kill her first!

“Ahhh!”

Abellyn’s screams became louder each time. She kept struggling to move

away from him but to no avail.

It was only at that moment that she began regretting her choices. I shouldn’t

be so hasty and acted on my own. I wouldn’t have been beaten up by him if I

had joined hands with Chloe and the others.

“Mom! Dad! What are you doing?”

The commotion alerted the boy, and Tommy cried in shock when he entered

and saw the scene before him.

His mother was trying to cut his father with a knife, while the latter was hitting

her relentlessly. Such a scene would definitely traumatize the child and haunt

him for the rest of his life.

Ryder panicked and instantly let go of Abellyn.

He did not, however, expect the woman to be so malicious that she would

use this chance to stab him.

What she did truly provoked Ryder.

No matter how dumb he was, Ryder finally saw Abellyn for who she was. She

did not care for whatever bond they had in the family and dared to stab her

husband right in front of her son.

Abellyn stabbed him right in the thigh. However, he did not cry out in pain but

instead gave her a slap across her face.

The woman screamed in pain as she collapsed onto the floor. She saw Ryder

walking closer to her when she turned to look, a vicious look on his face.

Frightened by the sight of this, she got onto her feet and began running

away.

“Stop right there, you crazy b*tch! I’m going to kill you!”

Ryder had completely lost his mind and began chasing after her, even

though blood was still flowing down his leg.

Tommy was terrified as he watched everything unfold, and his cries only

became louder.

Emmanuel finally arrived at Ryder’s house in his Maserati half an hour later.

Fortunately, Ryder hadn’t ended the call when he threw his phone earlier, so

Emmanuel could hear the commotion on the other end and guess what had

happened.

He was startled to see blood everywhere when he arrived.

Emmanuel noticed Tommy was lying on the ground unconscious. He quickly

took the child in his arms and patted his cheeks. “Tommy! Wake up, Tommy!”

Fortunately, Tommy had only fainted from crying. The boy soon opened his

eyes slowly.

“Uncle Manny! You’re finally here. Please save Daddy! Mommy was trying to

kill him with a knife! I’m so scared…” he said.

Tommy buried his face in Emmanuel’s chest and cried his heart out the

moment he woke up.

Emmanuel felt his heart clench at that moment. Has Abellyn gone insane?

How could she do this?
