Jenna beamed when he said that to her,
“Do you really mean that? ”
He nodded,

“Yes I love you so much”he repeated and hugged her,
“I will learn to love you more Jenna and I will make sure that you don’t have to cry again but… ”

“What? “She was now smiling,
“I don’t have money”he mumbled feeling embarrassed.
“You don’t have to feel that way, I’ve got the money that will feed the two of us”

“Yes”silence fell between them as she suddenly kissed him once more….

“I love you Jake “she said as she settled carefully on her wheelchair while he wheeled her to the car.

She had just been discharged from the hospital,

“Happy birthday “Mark announced his presence and she smiled.

“Where’s my little queen? “She asked referring to Jenna’s little baby,

“She’s playing around with Linda I think ”
“Okay, ”
“About your fianceé, he went for a conference meeting in his dad’s company”

“I know, he’s never gonna have time for me or will he? “She grumbled and Jenna laughed.

“That’s why we’re here to keep you company till he comes back, okay? ”

Later in the day,

Jake came back and took all of them out to celebrate Angela’s birthday,

They wined and dined, chatted and joked about the old times, they were all happy until they all retired to their houses.

Lying on Jake’s chest, she smiled heartily feeling fulfilled, all those odd habits about him have stopped, something like going to check up on her past love every year;she no longer does that and she’s happy living a new life.
