Living With My Lady Boss - Season 9 Episode 59
The figures were gigantic lions this time. Just like the tiger, they were massive in size and were clearly evolved feral beasts.
The lions’ bodies lit up with spiritual flames as they pounced, the flames crawling with runes and terrifying power that could rival that of an Ambience level cultivator.
The crowd watched on nervously, but Sheldon merely let out a cry and a spiritual shield appeared in front of him.
The shield was about the same height as Sheldon himself, flashing with runes and emitting a powerful spiritual energy.
Sheldon leaped into the air, swinging the spiritual shield toward the lions.
With a loud thump, one of the lions collapsed to the ground.
Gobu drew various runes with his hands, casting a high-level chain thunder spell.
The thunder rang loudly with a blinding glow, striking down the remaining two lions.
A cutlass appeared in Kaxx’s hands, and he brought it down on the two lions.
Within a few strokes, both lions had been cut into pieces.
These powerful beasts had been taken down in a matter of seconds.
The crowd broke out into cheers. The power of these Sanctuary level masters was truly undeniable.
The three Sanctuary level cultivators smirked coldly, continuing to push forward. About a dozen people rushed up to the lions, fighting over their corpses.
The skin of these evolved beasts was extremely precious and would make a fine coat to protect one from the elements.
Cameron saw this and waved a hand for everyone to keep going.

Wilbur did so quietly.
“Don’t think for a second that you’ll be leaving with anything here, dude,” Mosa appeared next to them again, taunting.
Wilbur frowned, but Cameron said, “Forget him. Let’s just focus on what we’re after.”
The four of them kept on going.
The fog in the Valley of Death was so thick that it made it hard to see, and everyone followed behind the three masters carefully, terrified of a spirit beast that might appear out of nowhere.
Wilbur could not expand his spirit energy much, but he could sense a faint aura of something deeply terrifying and dangerous.
That was normal, too.
Any place with treasure would be guarded by beasts for sure.
This beast Wilbur was sensing, however, was far more powerful than a Sanctuary level cultivator.
Wilbur did not bring it up, as he did not really like his company anyway.

Just like that, everyone walked on for a few more miles as the fog in the air only grew thicker until their visibility was limited somewhere around ten meters.
Some people were already starting to get scared, not daring to go on.
A series of thunder rumbled from the dark clouds in the sky, making them jump.
Just then, Wilbur stopped Cameron with a frown. “Let’s give up.”
“What? Why?” asked Cameron.
“It’s dangerous in front.”
“Nothing’s appeared yet, though. Besides, we have three Sanctuary level masters in front of us,” Dawson added.
Just then, a deep growl could be heard further ahead in the Valley of Death.
Even the dark clouds in the sky were scattered by the growl.
The crowd was shocked by the sight.
At the same time, more growls could be heard, seemingly in response to that initial growl.
That was followed by the thunderous sounds of a stampede.
“Oh my goodness! How many of them are there?” one of the adventurers asked shakily.
He was answered by the sight of spirit beasts appearing all around them. Tigers, lions, apes, and the like.
Those beasts were even larger and more vicious, charging towards the crowd.
Everyone scrambled to summon their own weapons, breaking into small-scale battles against the beasts.
Cameron summoned a cutlass, and Dawson a spear. Meanwhile, Wilbur brought out his thunder cleaver.
The three men formed a circle with Catherine in the middle.
Two feral beasts had pounced over in no time.
Cameron let out a cry and swung his weapon down.
The blade of his cutlass struck the body of the beast but resulted in a clanging sound of it hitting metal.
All that could be seen on the beast’s body was a mere faint cut.
Meanwhile, Cameron was knocked several steps backward.
