Living With My Lady Boss - Season 9 Episode 56
They were all from Dasha, and Wilbur was just trying to help them out.
It seemed now, however, like these guys had gotten the wrong idea.
They seemed to feel like Wilbur was the one who needed protection.
Yet, Wilbur did not bother explaining much, figuring that he would just get them in and out safely. After all, they were all from the same nation.
Just like that, the four of them reached Aucho City the next morning.
This city was tiny, about the size of a small town by Dasha’s standards.
Behind Aucho City was the famous Aucho Mountain, as well as the Valley of Death in it.
Wilbur sensed a shift in the atmosphere the second they stepped foot into the city. There were many cultivators roaming around the city, almost a hundred of them.
Cameron and the others seemed to feel it as well.
They hurriedly checked into a traveler’s inn. Once they were settled in their room, Cameron said, “There sure are lots of experts here.”
“What are you so afraid of? We’re experts too, aren’t we?” asked Dawson.
Wilbur smiled. Dawon had a point.

Ambience level cultivators could definitely be considered among the elites.
Cameron frowned at Wilbur. “The Valley of Death is incredibly dangerous, Wilbur. Are you sure you want to come with us?”
“Of course! I love a good adventure,” Wilbur smiled.
Cameron nodded. “We’ll do our best to protect you, but I can’t promise that you’ll be able to get out safely. We aren’t sure if we’ll be able to protect ourselves in the Valley of Death.”
“I know. Thank you very much. I’ll be careful,” said Wilbur.
Just then, Dawson said, “F*ck, we’d be damned lucky if we manage to get our hands on a precious gem in there or something.”
“Yeah, I heard everything in there’s incredibly powerful and worth a fortune.”
Catherine smiled. Her crinkled eyes flashed, and Wilbur felt his chest sway at the sight.
He grew wary at once. Motherf*cker, this girl had the power of natural charm. No wonder Cameron had even dared to bring her along.

“Let’s all do our best to keep ourselves safe, then. We’ll go for a meal, then head out,” Cameron suggested.
Everyone else nodded and headed to the inn diner to eat.
There were several men sitting at the table next to them, chatting while they ate.
“Did you hear? That peak Sanctuary level guy, Kaxx, is here too.”
“There’s also Sheldon and Gobu. Three Sanctuary level experts, and they’re all on the way to the Valley of Death.”
“Let’s hurry up and try to catch up after them, then. It’d be a lot safer for us to follow behind them.”
“Yeah. Let’s see if we can pick something up along the way. We’ll even get to witness the power of a Sanctuary level master.”
Cameron turned to Wilbur at once. “Let’s hurry up too, then. They’re right. It’ll be safer for us to follow behind those Sanctuary level experts.”
“Three Sanctuary level cultivators. That means there really are treasures in there!” Dawson looked ecstatic.
Cameron frowned. “Don’t go there yet. Our focus is on the gems. We won’t be able to get any treasure, not with those Sanctuary level experts around.”
Dawson shrugged. “I’m just saying, man.”
Wilbur merely smiled, and everyone got back to eating.
After they were done with their meal, everyone got ready and headed off for Aucho Mountain with their backpacks.
The mountain was not very big and did not look very different from regular mountains from the outside either.
The only thing that was different was the Valley of Death.
Legend had it that it was perpetually enveloped in a deathly fog, rife with beasts and dangers.
Seeing as everyone was a cultivator, they were able to travel fast enough to make it deep into Aucho Mountain within two hours.
Cameron stopped all of a sudden, looking at Wilbur. “Not bad, dude.”
Wilbur nodded with a smile.
Just then, a loud crack of thunder echoed through the air. Everyone turned to look and was greeted by the terrifying view of the Valley of Death.
