Wilbur fell into deep thought.

He wondered how much time had passed when he was snapped back to reality by the sound of footsteps.

He turned around and saw Karl walking in with dirt on his face.

His hair was burnt, and his clothes were tattered like a beggar’s.

Wilbur threw the diary into the demiplane and asked, “What happened to you?”

“I got hit by two missiles,” said Karl awkwardly.

Wilbur chuckled.

Karl said, “The Morocan soldiers were defeated and fled. I couldn’t kill them all.”

“It doesn’t matter. Rex is dead, so Lars will be arrested. They won’t be a problem anymore,” said Wilbur nonchalantly.

Karl expected the outcome, but he was still very impressed.

Wilbur was able to win against a Super Sanctuary cultivator. His powers were truly impressive.

“Oh yeah. Do you know a place called the Valley of Death?” asked Wilbur.

Karl frowned, then shook his head after a while.

Wilbur sighed slightly and said, “Let’s go. You should head back to Saturn Village, I need to talk to some people.”

Karl nodded. Wilbur took out his phone from the demiplane and dialed a number.

“Rex is dead. Half of the Morocan soldiers are dead or injured, and the rest of them fled.”

He hung up after saying that and left the hill with Karl.

Meanwhile, an armed squad quickly surrounded Lars’ villa.

Lars was arrested while he was sleeping. He could not believe that it was happening until he was thrown into a secret jail.

Wilbur was sitting in the presidential office at that moment.

Rogan poured a glass of whisky for Wilbur and said, “Sir, you’re amazing.”

“Thanks,” Wilbur responded nonchalantly.

Rogan sat and passed Wilbur a cigar. Then, he said, “Lars will receive the death penalty in three days for treason.”

Wilbur snipped the cigar tip and took a drag, smiling without saying anything.

Lars was arrested and his future was set.

Rogan could pin any crime on Lars as he pleased.

“My only concern is the forces from Bridgeon. They had secretly been supporting Lars,” said Rogan while frowning.

Wilbur looked at Rogan and said slowly, “That is your nation’s business, so I won’t get involved, but I do have a suggestion. You can side with Dasha. You should know that Dasha doesn’t interfere with other nation’s politics, but they believe in the concept of collaboration with benefits.”

Rogan smiled and said, “I have another question. What is your relationship to Everett Foreign Trade, sir?”

Wilbur looked at Rogan and said slowly, “We’re business partners.”

“Very well. Everett Foreign Trade will be given a series of benefits,” said Rogan.

Wilbur smiled and nodded. He said, “Oh yeah. Do you know about the Valley of Death?”
