Living With My Lady Boss - Season 8 Episode 66
The two spell spheres struck.
Zeke’s Zombie Gate Domain disintegrated in a matter of seconds, like a roaring flame to a pile of snow.
Chester’s Alpha Spear had just formed when the spell sphere was inches away, and he threw the spear out with all his might.
The Alpha Spear pierced through the spell sphere, before melting away into a puddle that seemed to disappear in the sphere.
The spell sphere seemed like a void capable of absorbing any form of power or energy. It would melt and usurp all attacks without even causing a single ripple.
Chester and Zeke were dumbfounded.
Was this the true power of a Super Sanctuary level cultivator?
Just then, the two spell spheres began to spin. Two jets of black flames shot out, hurtling toward Chester and Zeke.
The flames brought with them a fatal aura.
Both men were caught by surprise and barely managed to defend themselves with all their spiritual energy.
The flames lightly touched the spiritual shields they cast.
Their shields vanished at once and the terrifying force of the flames struck both men square on their bodies.
Blood sprayed from their mouths as they were sent flying, barely alive when they crashed on the ground.

“Tell Trevor Penn that I’m going to kill everyone around him, one by one. I’m going to teach him what it feels like to lose his family and friends. Take her away,” Angie said emotionlessly, turning to leave.
The two men from last time walked up and hauled Faye away into their car.
Faye glanced at Chester and Zeke, who were motionless on the ground unable to get up.
She did not struggle, nor did she scream.
She knew that all that would be pointless, considering how powerless she was.
The best thing she could do was do and say nothing and try not to provoke anyone while she waited for Wilbur to come to her rescue.
Of course, that could only happen if these people would even let her live that long.
It was unclear how long had passed, but eventually, the car stopped at the foot of a mountain.
There was a house with a courtyard that seemed to have been there for quite a while.

Faye was brought inside.
Angie sat down in the living room, leaning against a maroon armchair as she stared coldly at her.
Faye lowered her head, trying her best not to interact with Angie in the slightest.
The two men stood by the door, still as rocks.

As Sanctuary level cultivators, they were usually considered the strongest wherever they went.
Here, they were only good enough to watch the door.
Angie smirked coldly. “Ever since I found out my son was dead, I have been using all the connections and money I have to find the killer. I haven’t had a good night’s sleep this whole time. I dream of my son the second I fall asleep, covered in blood and crying out for me to avenge him.”
Faye said nothing.
“I swore to myself that the second I found the killer, I was going to kill every single person close to them no matter who they were before finally killing them.”
Angie’s expression began to shift, her facial features contorting as if she was a witch. She got to her feet, mumbling to herself as she paced around the living room like a maniac.
“I know you’re his girlfriend, so I’ll start with you. Don’t worry, though. You’re not going to die so soon. I’ll be sure to take my time torturing you, then kill you in front of Trevor Penn.”
Faye barked out a laugh internally.
She was going to live no matter how this old hag tortured her. There was hope as long as she was still alive.
Faye was certain that Wilbur would be able to beat Angie.
To Faye, there was nothing Wilbur could not do.
She did, however, hope that the old hag would not do anything to her face.
Who was Faye to love Wilbur if she were disfigured?
“Do you know why I chose this place?” the old hag said, leering at Faye.
Faye felt like it was time she said something.
Holding her silence might actually anger this old hag even more.
