Wilbur frowned and said, “Hand over the antidote.”

“There is no antidote. It’s a poison made for Saint level cultivators. How is it possible to have an antidote? Yumi’s death is inevitable, but we can work together. I can be better than Yumi. I can offer you more,” said Yaron while sweating.

Wilbur chuckled, then looked at him and said, “That won’t be necessary.”

“Yumi’s dead, my father’s dead, and even Cyrus is dead. I’m the only person who can lead the Gardners now. Do you wish to be in charge of my family as an outsider?” asked Yaron.

Wilbur shook his head and replied slowly, “I have no intentions of doing that.”

Yaron could not figure it out.

He thought, ‘Even if he wants someone he can manipulate, that person has to be a Gardner. It’s impossible for him to manipulate the Gardners on his own. No one will agree to it. It will only cause a larger dispute and end badly.’
