Living With My Lady Boss - Season 7 Episode 3
Before Wilbur could even say anything, Faye smiled. “Grandpa, this is my boyfriend. Wilbur Penn.” Wilbur took the chance to hold the box with the Elixir of Life out. “Grandpa, this is an Elixir of Life. It’s great for strengthening your body, and it can even increase your lifespan. I hope you like it.” “Get out of here,” Asher roared, slapping the Elixir of Life to the ground with a wave of his hand. “Who the hell do you think you are, calling yourself my granddaughter’s boyfriend?” Wilbur frowned, and Faye sighed as well. She knew that it was a tough situation and had expected things to go south. However, her grandfather being
so angry and not even giving Wilbur the benefit of the doubt deeply disappointed her.
Wesley picked up the Elixir of Life to get a closer look at it and let out a smirk. “What the hell is this? How dare you lie to us, calling it an Elixir of Life? Do you think we’re idiots?” “Look at Mister Yaegar! He was generous enough to gift a real Cezanne painting, and you have the nerve to come up with something like this?” Freddie jeered as well.
Fabian was the only one keeping silent.
He knew how powerful Wilbur actually was and was pretty certain the Elixir of Life was not a fake. If it could really make one live longer, though, it would definitely be worth much more than a mere painting.
Faye sighed. “Wilbur would never lie to you, Grandpa. He’s also the boss of Cape International. He more than deserves to marry someone from the Yves family.” “I don’t give a f*ck about Cape International! He could never compare to Mister Clark, got it?” Asher fumed.

“You’re from Eagle City! Have you forgotten that? Get this man to f*ck off, or I’m going to have to make him.” Just then, Justin piped up for the first time, his expression dark, “Asher Yves, the Yves family can forget about staying in Eagle City if you don’t offer a proper explanation for this.” As the first prince of Eagle City, Justin definitely had the power to say something like that. Faye had
embarrassed him greatly today, and he was understandably furious.
The rest of the Yves family was terrified, cursing Faye internally for being so unreliable just like her father.
The other guests in the room grew anxious as well.
Justin’s wrath was something no one there could afford to bear, let alone the Yves family.
No one dared to speak, watching everything unfold quietly in fear that they might get themselves into trouble.

It was best to stay out of things like this, in case they got themselves into trouble for no reason.
The other two Eagle City Princes exchanged glances, keeping a unanimous silence as well.
It would be good for them if this went south. If the Yves family really were to become in-laws with the Clarks, there were going to be four main clans in Eagle City. The Yves family might even bear down on the other three.
Asher did not dare to even get angry at Justin for calling him by his full name, instead hurrying to say, “Don’t worry, Mister Yaegar. I’m still the head of the Yves family. I have the biggest say here. The kid’s just throwing a little tantrum. I’ll take care of it.” Justin scoffed coldly, saying nothing more.
Asher waved a hand, and two well- built bodyguards walked over.
“Break one of his legs and throw him out of here. The Yves family has no place for someone like him,” Asher shouted, completely ignoring Faye’s feelings.
Asher knew how powerful Cape was, but they were nothing compared to the Yaegar family.
A clan could only carry on its legacy with power. Money was not enough on its own.
So many big corporations and billionaires have met their demise just because they did not have sufficiently powerful people to support them.
Now that he finally had the chance, there was no way in hell Asher was going to let Wilbur screw it all up for him.
