“Yes, sir!” Meyer said, waving a hand. His men sprang into action at once, putting Hugh, Vale, and the others in handcuffs.

The people from the relevant departments had made their way over to announce their rights and what they were going to do.

Dani trembled all over, collapsing to the floor in a heap.

Despite the fact that she was fine for now, she had been responsible for a fair share of crimes in Yoma Corp, which would make her sentence no lighter than that of Vale’s.

The thought of being thrown into jail at such a young age threw Dani into complete despair.

Just then, Hugh shouted, “You can’t do this to me, Mister Forsythe! Wilbur Penn and his friend killed two people! Aren’t you going to do something about it?”

He was trying to make one last attempt at bringing Wilbur down with him.

Dani jerked at the words, shouting as well, “Yes, that’s right! They hurt over twenty people and killed two! Their corpses are right here. You can’t just stand and watch that happen! We might have broken the law, but surely their sentence has to be worse!”

Dani felt like she had been terribly wronged, with the way her life was going up in flames just like that.

She mustered up all the courage that she had in her and shouted at the top of her lungs, standing with Hugh in trying to bring down Wilbur and Ryder.
